"Christmas is creeping closer too quickly!" I exclaimed. "There are a ton of fun winter activities that we still need to do before Christmas!"
Han looked at me with a slightly confused expression. He looked even cuter than usual.
"Can't we simply do some of those activities after Christmas?"
It was a decent suggestion, but I wanted to get my xmas-feeling going, and there was no better way to do it than to do a bunch of winter activities.
I shook my head. "Besides I'm sure your group will be back on track with your busy schedule right after Christmas is over."
My boyfriend opened his mouth, probably to protest but I silenced him very quickly. "Don't even pretend that you guys won't have a show on New Year's Eve and probably one the day after that."
"Yeah, but there are still multiple days in between Christmas and New Year's," he remarked and shrugged.
"Han, babe, I love you, but I also know you and your schedule. You will have a practice session or ten during those days, which is fine by me. I get you before and during Christmas, your job can get you for New Years."
Han pulled me into a tight hug. "Thank you for always being so understanding."
"I knew what I was getting into when I agreed to be your girlfriend." I smiled at him. It had been a decently tough decision to make, but I hadn't regretted it even once.
"And I will eternally be grateful for that." Han gave me a quick kiss. Way too quick, since I could kiss him for days. I wonder what the record for the longest kiss is. We should try to beat it.
"So, what's on our agenda today?" He interrupted my train of thought.
I didn't have to think at all. "Sledding!" It has been absolute ages since I've gone sledding.
"Oh yeah that's a fun idea! I did it with the boys a while back, so I'm fairly good at it," he said with a wink.
"That's excellent! You can do all the hard work and I can be the passenger princess."
Han laughed.

"Do you really expect me to drag you up the whole hill?" Han asked dubiously. His eyes scanned the snow covered hill in question before turning back to me.
I was sitting in the sled, and Han may or may not have dragged me in the sled the whole way from our home to here.
"If you insist, I will keep on sitting here and provide you with an excellent free workout." I grinned widely.
Han put his hands on his hips. "Yeah, no." He extended his arm out for me and helped me get up. "I can, however, hold your and drag the sled as we walk."
The offer was good enough for me.
The walk up felt very long, as the hill was quite slippery, and we had to move slowly. Neither of us wanted to risk falling and sliding right back down. A slippery surface meant higher speeds though, which I was excited (and perhaps a bit scared) about.
"Okay," Han said when we'd finally reached the top, "you can sit in the front, and I'll sit behind you."
I sat down tentatively. My feet had to be tucked in, which would affect my balance.
Han seemed to notice my uncertainty.
He sat down right behind me and wrapped his arms around my body. I relaxed a bit. This felt comfortable.
"I won't let you go," he whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. "I will be your personal seatbelt."
I chuckled, and then shrieked when he without any warning set our sled in motion.
We were speeding down the hillside. Wind was whooshing in my ears. My heart felt like it was about to explode, but in a good way. I don't think I'd ever felt so alive.
Our sled came to a stop quite far from the hill.
I turned to look at Han, with my eyes wide of excitement.
"I loved that! Can we please do it again?"
Han smiled. "Of course we can."
My inner child rejoiced.
