"Babe, I sure hope you have a beanie, a scarf and a pair of mittens with you, because I won't give any of mine to you!" Minho said.

His voice sounded serious, but we both knew that even if I had all those on and would still feel cold, he would give me his beanie, his scarf, and his mittens. That's why I loved him. He could come across as a cold person, but he wouldn't hesitate to do anything for his loved ones.

It had been six months since he'd asked me to be his girlfriend and I'd said, or rather screamed, "yes" while hopping up and down unable to contain my excitement. I still couldn't really comprehend that I was lucky enough to hear him call me "babe".

"Yes," I responded and stepped into his view. I was indeed wearing all the aforementioned garments, but I had borrowed them from his closet.

He looked me up and down, with his eyes stopping at the beanie I was wearing. It was very adorable; gray with bunny ears. I was fairly sure a fan had given it to him, but for some strange reason he'd refused to wear it out in public.

"That's seriously what you're going to wear?" He asked.

I nodded in response and heard him mutter that at least I looked unbelievably cute while wearing it.

"Come on," he encouraged me and took my hand, "we don't have all day."

"I thought we had the whole day for ourselves." I was disappointed as I'd been really looking forward to getting him all for myself for one entire day. With the group's busy schedule, days like this were rare.

"Sweetie, that's not what I meant." Minho said as he noticed a change in my mood. He took my hands in his; mittens and all.

"I am planning on spending this whole day with you, but I meant that we shouldn't spend the whole day ice-skating because I have plenty of other activities in mind."

He smiled and gave me a quick kiss.

I smiled back at him, while looking at his beautiful eyes. He truly was gorgeous, and I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

"What other activities did you have in mind?" I teased him.

"Well... we should probably order something to eat and then watch a movie. I could maybe give you a massage during the movie and we'll have to see where things go from there."

This sounded extremely promising. I gave him a thankful kiss, before dragging him out of the house and toward the ice rink.

"Babe, like you said we have a very busy schedule today, so we need to hurry!"

He laughed.

"So, you've never gone ice skating before?" He confirmed while looking at me suspiciously.

"No, that's not true!" I felt defensive. "I tried it once when I was about five."

"Oh, so you're totally a pro then! I can't wait for you to show your skills to me." The sarcasm in his voice was way too obvious.

I quickly tied the laces on my skates before I stood up from the bench I was sitting on.

"Just wait and see." I truly wished I'd felt as confident, and I sounded.

His eyes followed my every move as I awkwardly made my way to the ice. I didn't know which part was worse; the one where I walked like a duck on my way to the rink or the way I was splattering around like a giraffe on ice as soon as I made contact with the ice.

Why on Earth did ice skating have to involve a slippery surface?

The best thing to be said about my performance was that at least I didn't fall on my ass.

Once I'd regained my balance and managed to stand somewhat still, I turned to look at my dear boyfriend. I gave him a radiant smile, which he immediately returned.

I watched as he graciously glided onto the ice, completely sure of every move he made. He looked like he was born to be an ice skater.

He spun in circles around me, and I watched in awe. I don't think he'd ever looked hotter.

"I didn't know you were a pro skater." I was extremely impressed but couldn't help but wonder if there was anything he wasn't amazing at.

Minho smiled a conspiratorial smile. "This is actually my third time ice skating, but I guess being a dancer makes me good at this too."

"You're not serious. You're way too amazing to be true." That was all I could say.

"True." He stated matter of factly. "But the best part about being so awesome is that I can always find new ways to impress you and I can actually share my awesomeness with you."

With that he took my hands and began dragging me with him.

"Babe! I'm gonna fall and drag you down with me!"

He looked me in the eyes. "Do you trust me?"

I nodded. "Of course I trust you."

"Then believe this: I am not going to let you fall. Mostly because you would indeed drag me down with you and that would be embarrassing, but also because you could get hurt."

I could tell by his tone that he was joking about the first part.

This time I didn't fight it when he pulled me with him. Minho skated effortlessly backwards while I did everything in my power to not fall while going forwards. Soon we both got the hang of this, and we spent the rest of the time talking, laughing, and skating around the rink together.

The weather was cold, but at that moment I felt very warm and loved.
