"Who did you get?" I asked while trying to sneak a glance at the piece of paper my boyfriend was holding in his hands.
He narrowed his eyes to me. "Isn't the whole point of this game to keep it a secret from everyone else?"
"Usually yes, but I swear that at least some of the members are breaking the rules too. Besides, you know them much better than I do, and I will need help with picking out the perfect gift."
Chan didn't seem convinced.
"Honestly babe, it doesn't matter as long as you don't have my name and I don't have yours." I stepped closer and wrapped my hands around him.
Chan automatically pulled me in tighter. His hands, which happened to be holding a certain piece of paper, were positioned behind me. This wasn't exactly ideal since I desperately wanted to sneak a peek at the name written on the paper.
I was battling between choosing plan a or plan b. The first one would consist of me turning around, kissing his neck as a distraction and simultaneously trying to catch a glimpse of the name, and plan b would simply be stealing the piece of paper and running away.
Luckily, I didn't have to resort to either one, since Chan sighed and mumbled okay.
"Yay!" I gave him a kiss as a thank you.
Chan kissed me back in a way that made me instantly forget that damn piece of paper.
After a few minutes my boyfriend gently pulled away from the kiss.
"I love kissing you, but we really need to get to the shopping mall if we intend on participating in the gift exchange tonight."
I groaned. Chan was right of course, as he usually was, but honestly, I would've preferred staying here with him.
He smiled radiantly. "I think we should go shopping now, throw the gifts at the receiving parties, and then head back home where we can continue this."
I was already nodding and dragging him towards the shopping mall.
"Come on, we don't have any time to waste!"

The name on his card was Han, while Felix was written on mine.
"So, both of these are pretty easy, I think." Chan said. "Han likes coffee and Lee Know, so I'm hoping to find a store that makes customized coffee mugs."
"Would it be too boring if I got something Aussie-themed for Felix?" I pondered.
Chan shook his head. "As long as it's either funny or useful it'll be fine."
My eyes were scouting our surroundings, trying to find inspiration.
"Preferably both of course." Chan added with a wink.
"So, no pressure for me, huh?" I asked sarcastically.
He chuckled.

In the end we found the perfect gifts.
Chan wasn't the type to enjoy splurging money on things, but today his money had come in handy. He had managed to buy a customized coffee mug with Lee Know's face for Han. It seemed to make Han very happy.
I ended up buying a kangaroo-shaped water bottle for Felix. He found it hilarious and gave me a big hug as a thank you. I saw him using it the next day at dance practice.
Chan got a "World's Best Dad"-shirt from Jeongin, and Minho gave me a pillowcase with Chan's face on it. The explanation behind it was that by using the pillowcase I could always wake up next to Chan, even when he was working in a different country.
That night I slept next to two handsome faces.
