The Seven Princes of Hell, also known as the Seven Emperors of Hell or the Seven Kings of Hell, are the supreme power in Hell, even higher than the Ars Goetia and any other fallen angel or demon. Despite the fact that the princes are known as the "seven," there have always been many more than seven.
During their violent battles against the archangels, the seven rebel angels were either horrifically or fatally damaged, leaving scars on their bodies as a reminder of their transgressions and hatred for their respective enemy archangel. Lucifer, Beelzebub, and Samael were the first three angels to awaken from their sleep in the Abyss, and as such were regarded as the three most powerful and pivatol monarchs who ruled over the rebel angels. Because the Seven were the first to enter the Abyss, they would be chosen as the first rulers of the Abyss, which would later become Hell as a result of their impact.
For ages, Lucifer has ruled Hell through the Seven Princes, which he leads alongside Satan and Beelzebub to form the Satanic Triumvirate. They grew stronger over time and usurped power over all of the lower planes, with Lucifer and Satan as genuine rulers, and Beelzebub as second-in-command and a sort of aide to the great fallen angels. Meanwhile, the others would govern over enormous swaths of their respective territories. Every Prince was in charge of his own people and domains.

Lucifer (or Lucifer Morningstar), formerly known as Helel, was one of God's earliest creatures and the twin brother of Michael. He was also known as Satan, the Devil, Light Bringer, the Light Bearer, and the Morning Star. He was widely regarded as the wisest, greatest, and most beautiful angel in all of creation, with only God as his superior.
Belphegor is a fallen angel who, after being cast out of heaven, is now the Demon Lord in charge of the sin of Sloth. He's also known for being one of the Seven Great Kings who rule over Hell. Belphegor was a lieutenant from Hell who had been sent to Earth by Satan on a mission.
Mammon, also known as Maymun or Plutus, is a great fallen angel turned demon who is most often personified as Greed and is the noble demon ruler of avarice, riches, abundance, prosperity, wealth, and injustice. Mammon appears to be a wolf-like demon of money, which is ironic given that wolves were linked with greed in the Middle Ages.
Beelzebub, originally known as Triel or Yophiel, is a former Seraph turned high-ranking demon who controls the Order of the Fly and is regarded one of the Seven Princes of Hell. He is one of the great rulers of the Inferno, along with Satan and Lucifer, who comprise the trio of Hell. Beelzebub is Lucifer's Chief-Lieutenant and one of the Morning Star's most devoted servants. Beelzebub is usually thought to be at the top of Hell's hierarchy. He belonged to the Cherubim or Seraphim order.
Satan, previously known as Samael, is a key figure in all Abrahamic religions (but predominantly Christianity), playing diverse roles in their literature. He is also known as Ha-Satan, or The Tempter, The Evil One, The Adversary, and The Devil. He used to be an exalted Cherub who served as Heaven's Arbiter, but he fell out of favour when he accused humans of corrupting and destroying God's creation. He became an Accuser of the human race after he fell, testing their morals and punishing them for succumbing to their faults.
The demon king of envy, chaos, and the sea is Livyatan. He is also one of the Seven Kings of Hell, and serves as the Inferno's gatekeeper. The Hellmouth is Livyatan, the gatekeeper, whose enormous demon's mouth is thought to symbolise the gates of Hell itself. Because Livyatan and the Gates of Hell are intricately linked, it is stated that the demon's mouth, dubbed the Hellmouth, can also lead to the depths of the Abyss.
One of the Seven Princes of Hell, Asmodeus, is referred to as one of the Seven Princes of Hell. He also represents Lust, which is one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Asmodeus is either a ferocious and brutal creature or a mischievous demon with a humorous and whimsical brilliance.
Asmodel, the Angel of April and Patience, who rules the Zodiacal sign of Taurus, is his prior angelic incarnation. Asmodeus has a child or clone who is also named Asmodeus, but is typically referred to as Asmoday. People who fall prey to Asmodeus' schemes are thought to be punished to an eternity in Hell's second level.
