Toty walked away from there while glancing back to see if Taboo was watching him or not.

Taboo remained motionless on the ground and didn't know whether to turn back, or insist on following  the wolf that walked alone, away from her

-    I think I exaggerated - Thought Toty while looking back slightly.

Toty felt a little guilty for thinking he had overreacted with Taboo, who just wanted to help him.

Toty thought of letting her accompany him, but what would Taboo's intentions be, and what did she want? Thought Toty.

Toty glanced back one more time, and Taboo was still there standing like a statue as she  looked in his direction.

-    Taboo is hard-headed and she doesn't give up easily. - Toty thought.

For a second Toty thought it would be a good idea to take her with him, as he was wandering  aimlessly around.

-    Ugh Taboo - Thought toty, who stopped walking for a second.

Taboo felt a small smile form on her face as if Toty was going to turn back and let her go with him.

Toty turned towards Taboo and she was standing there.

There was silence between the two with only the sound of the wind.

For a second their eyes met again and Toty found that very strange.
The winds swayed Taboo's hair and she saw the winds swaying Toty's as well.

-    Shall I let her come? - Thought Toty

-    Will he let me go with him? - Thought Taboo

-    She is hard-headed - Toty thought

"He's going to need my help," Thought Taboo.

-    She is so difficult what does she want with me? - Thought the wolf feeling uncomfortable.

-    He's so cute. - Thought Taboo watching the wind sway Toty's hair.

Toty thought for a moment and thought of what to do.

-    Taboo go back! Toty said.

-    Why? - Asked Taboo

-     Return to the village! I'm going alone. - Said the wolf.

-    No! - Said taboo.

-    Taboo! - Said Toty already growling and showing his teeth.

-    You're going back now! - Said the wolf with a snarl and sinister look.

Taboo felt a little apprehensive and decided not to go against it, walking back towards the village.

Toty, seeing that Taboo was going back, decided to follow his path, looking back sometimes to see if she was coming back.

Toty continued walking until he reached the exit of the valley in the same place where Tora had helped to kill two mammoths.

-    Good times! Toty thought remembering his childhood and when the camp was in that place.

Toty could still see the carcass of the two dead mammoths and at the same moment a movie flashed through his head of the whole family gathered and celebrating, he and Tina running together. Toty felt a great longing and for a minute he thought about going back but he stayed firm in the decision to leave.

He thought he had to leave because of Tina anyway, but he loved Tina, much more than a friend, Toty never wanted to admit to himself.

Toty had another childhood flashback of him and Tina promising each other to stay together for the rest of their lives and not to separate, he had memories of the two playing about being a family, of him
being the father and she the mother.
