My room consisted of A big window covering the expanse of the back wall , providing a view towards endless forest beyond. An intricate dragon glass was placed above it. Elijah's doing he knew my dislike for the sun for it was his too.
Everything inside was black apart from the light carefully positioned in corners of the room.
Huge framed bed positioned in the middle,  with black curtains hanging just above it. A large ornate mirror hanged on my right , allongside with a picture of me and Rebekah putting our makeup in my dresser home. It was taken last year and i still remembered that day vividly. My 19th birthday. Rebekah had her touch in this room too. It made me smile every day i saw it, they did something to make me feel like i am home. For all their faults, they truly cared for me unlike anyone else. Sometimes it felt like they cared more than my real parents ever did.
En suite bathroom with glass windows and a large black marble tub,  was on the left . Red light lamp flicking above. I walked inside to the small Karahasi table,  placed next to the window and two cushionshed chairs. Running my fingertips over it,  i enjoyed the feeling of cracked glass and the magic emanating between the crevices. Thoughts of Tom riddle invaded my mind. His stare when our faces were close. Carnal hunger roamed in those eyes of his and i hated how much i liked it. Shaking those thoughts away i shedded my clothes and threw myself in bed. I had no desire to sleep, but the exhaustion of this day was seeping through my bones. Lifting my hand up channeled my magic and let it roam to the table next to the bed. The current connected with the magic within bringing me back a cold but relaxing feeling. Such powerful objects Karahasi and yet so underestimated . It started humming softly the magic within it and i closed my eyes listening .
Let me sleep. I mumbled the plead.

- Are you ready yet? Rebekah moaned in the other side of the door.
- Rebekah you are a 500 years old have some patience! I yelled out while i struggled to secure my uniform in place. I felt so small compaired to it. I was nervous about the tests. All the boys in my unit were bigger,  stronger. Some of them outright hated my guts . How im i supposed to win?
- Coming from you ? You rather eat burning hot steaks , cause you don't have patience for them to cool. No thanks. She joked making me roll my eyes. I opened the door and watched her beam at me.
- You look savage! She exclaimed.
- I don't feel savage. I'm nervous Rebekah i need a full score . How i'm i going to win this? They are all twice my size and some of them hate my guts.
- Men are fickle creatures my darkling you know that. Use it against them. You are smarter than they are and fighting is not all about strength.
Besides we thought you how to fight, do not underestimate your abilities like that. Ellijah would have never thought you anything if he thought you will fail. Chin up , walk like you own them all ,because technically you do. You hit em hard and you hit them fast. Go for major organs and weak links. You know the drill. Rebecca said grabbing my hand . There was such proudness in her eyes and all of it of me. I felt unworthy of it , but i will make it worthy. I will.
- Cmon shed the control for a minute and show me your real face. I won't tell Elijah. She said just as her eyes changed filling out with blood and small red veins uppeared under them. Her white fangs glistened in the light. Beautiful i thought looking at the regal creature. Scary but beautiful. I wished one day i held the same confidence for the monster within me as she did for hers.
I let the magic channel within and turned my head focusing on the shadows in the corner. It was always easier to shift my eyes that way. Made for the dark and all that. I felt it like a snap in my head as the world around me turned into a different light. Where there was shadows and dark places now there was nothing , but clear details of what was behind all along. Where there was light before now stood a splotch of radiance . Everything was clearer more detailed. I flashed my teeth at her in a manner i saw from her and watched her grin.
- I'd be bloody terrified if i didn't know you. She exclaimed and placed a hand near my cheek.
- You thought me well.
- No I didn't , it comes naturally to you. You are different , it's a good thing. We need different. She said rather melancholic but before i could ask her what it meant the world around me swirled and my eyes closed.
