How i imagine house Abrasax ( feel free to create your own)

- Are you okay? Matheo asked behind me , as i stormed through the familiar woods .
I didn't particularly feel anything , my mind an empty black space, where all my anger went to die.
Which probably meant i was one minor inconvenience away from murder.
- No. i bit out and noticed a familiar rune on one of the trees, turning right to follow it.
- Where are we? Tom questioned and i heard him rush a step , to catch up with me , his towering frame on my right side.
Matheo did the same , until we walked in a straight line. I wish they didn't. I needed space.
Another rune marked a fallen trunk and i followed , our legs meeting an evergreen pass.
Lights shone between the trees up ahead and i sped up , clearing the woods first.
The bridge was a thing to behold that never stopped to amaze me. A gates of which seemed to rival the skies for hight. Ancient chains connected the rest together, the path dissapearing into a mist , that never really went away.
Magic enchantments so strong , they stood for 1000 years unbroken. The bridge was neutral land , but the checkpoints at each end were not.
One for the wizards, one for Amaruns.
Each dictated by their own rules.
Supporting the illusion of "free trade" .
Nothing about it was free.
Despite it all , it was rather beautiful to look at night. A structure of times long forgotten.
- I imagine you have some plan of getting us across . Tom mumbled beside me , his cold and accessing gaze on the side of my face.
- Not a plan. A ride. I replied and the distant sound of hooves already reaching my ears.
A moment later the black carriage appeared around the corner , pulled by 4 black stalions , 2 in each roll.
They stopped right in front of us , the hooves kicking out dust everywhere and the lanterns attached to the side of the carriage lighting up to life.
- Came as fast as i could miss. Detail is waiting by the outpost. The rider said in amarun ,releasing the reins and salluted with a hand to his chest .
- At ease soldier. I regret giving you such a short notice. I replied in amarun nodded respectfully stepping forward , the horses immediately tensing away from me .
It made me feel a pang of sadness, can't say i would ever get used to animals fearing me.
I was even more looking forward to be home. A lot less creatures feared me there.
The soldier stepped down from the carriage , the bronze mask on his face reflecting the light.
He was a good rider, in charge of our carriage for 2 years now and delivering without a fault, which was saying a lot considering my traitorous homeland.
- The name is Dain. I will be your rider for the crossing. House Abrasax has  prepared you documents , you will receive em after we pass the checkpoints. He spoke and English his focus turning to Matheo and Tom and opened the door for them.
- Ladiri nehar. (Ladies first) Tom replied in Amarun , his pronunciation rather well done for a foreigner and i was caught in an absolute surprise. He grinned back at me proudly and i climbed up the steps, before plopping down on the seat , very unladylike.
I was tired.
Matheo took a seat next to me , but Tom opted for the opposite side, luckily the carriage was big enough to fit 5 people and even so with Tom and Matheo both inside, it suddenly felt entirely too small, every space taken by their presence.
Boy was it gonna be a long crossing, i thought , the marks on my body nearly humming with the proximity.
