Ignore the mistakes

He waited for his short friend on the bank of the river, a place where they enjoyed their friendly moments without thinking about the world, where they were not gangsters, a place where they could talk about their worries, feelings, and emotions. Their words got submerged in water, safe from the world, the river knew all their secrets.

"It's a full moon"- Jimin smiled seeing the shining moon and sat next to him. "Luminescence......"- Jungkook words got stuck in his throat. He didn't know how to define the view in front of him. The moon's reflection underwater, tide hugging the shore, the twinkling stars smiling at him. Jungkook had been here before but this time everything felt new, more beautiful and magical. "It's pretty"- Jimin said placing a bottle between them. "Lia just left. Yesterday was crazy, I have never expected something like this from the doctor"- It was hard to believe for him. "Namjoon said the doctor was at his place and left when the sun rose, without thanking him"- Jimin mimicked Namjoon but of course ended up acting cute. Jungkook smiled at him. "Why would he thank him, it's not like we were helping him"- Jungkook turned his head.

"Jungkooka it doesn't feel right"- Jimin didn't maintain eye contact but the brunette was looking at him, confused about what he was saying. "I mean why did we kidnap him? All the mission we completed was not difficult, we had been on more dangerous missions than that. I don't know Jungkook why Mr. Choi wanted him."- Jimin blinked twice preventing tears. He was not always around Taehyung like Jungkook but he felt guilty, he knew he had done wrong and accepted it. "Also this time we lost control on him, what if Heesoon killed him? His scream.......his scream is still echoing in my mind"- finally Jimin looked at Jungkook. Their eyes held a hundred questions.

"It was not new, we have lost control once before"- after hiding it for a long, here the brunette gangster was telling his best friend. Jungkook took a deep breath and continued,-" It happened when I brought him to my house, I don't know what went wrong, we were just watching a movie and just after that he started screaming."- Jungkook was still puzzled by this incident. "What movie"- Jimin questioned suddenly interested in movie.
"I don't remember the name, but it was just like how we are"- Jungkook didn't tell him more, he was not here to discuss a movie that he had watched months ago.

They both sat there, in silence, for what felt like fifteen minutes before Jimin broke the silence,-"BLOOD"- his voice was loud.

"What blood"- jungkook raised his eyebrows, not getting his point.

"It's blood, why he becomes out of control. You said you were watching movie about killing people just like we do. You have told me that at Heesoon's place he started screaming when two men fall in front of him socked in blood. And.... and do you remember how he stopped reacting when he saw blood during his test session"- Jimin brought all the pieces together. "It's blood Jungkook, his brain stops responding to our order when he sees blood instead it functions normally, and all of sudden when he sees blood, he screams."- Jungkook remembered the last scene of the movie, he remembered how scared Taehyung was when he was screaming, he also remembered how blonde was pleading not to give a shock.

Everything was making sense now, but one thing was still not clear, why Mr. Choi wanted Taehyung. Jungkook didn't say further, nothing was left to say. He felt Jimin's gaze on him before the short male grabbed the bottle.

"Can we not drink tonight?"- he asked simply, and Jimin who was about to open the bottle, stopped. "Huhhh.....?"- a loud silence between them. It was the first time when Jungkook was not drinking here. "O. Ok. Okay...we are not drinking, as you say"- Jimin smiled, a little taken back by Jungkook's behavior. The brunette was quiet and lost somewhere. "I will drink it with Yoongi"- Jimin's eyes were not leaving Jungkook, something was wrong he could tell. He had been with the brunette for too long. "You are staying with him"- Jungkook asked instead of teasing him. "Oh...actually...mmm...Yes. He said so yaa. We also went on a night drive yesterday after the party"- heat reddened his cheeks as he talked about Yoongi. "That's good"- Jungkook was happy for Jimin, at least Yoongi was making a move.
