"You're doing that all wrong baby." Ziora's father tells her, grabbing the baster from his daughter. He puts on oven mitts and takes the turkey out of the oven and sets it on the countertop, inspecting it as his daughter rolls her eyes.

"Y'all have to stop asking me to help then, every year y'all act like I'm messing up the food." She backs away from the stove with her hands up.

"Because you are messing up the food." her cousin and parents say in unison. She rolls her eyes again as they poke fun at her.

"How about this, y'all go grab the drinks." Mrs. Moore nods her head in the direction of the garage. "Then y'all can go get ready. We told everyone 5:30 and it's 4:40."

Maddie and Ziora walk toward the garage, groaning as they get closer and open the fridge. Maddie hands her two big cases of Arizona as she carries two big cases of soda herself.

"Where the men at? I shouldn't even be carrying this stuff, my birthday coming up." Ziora says as she carefully walks up the steps, opening the door to get back in.

"Uncle Chris you know good and well you could've got this yourself." Maddie says breathlessly, setting the drinks on the counter.

"I know, y'all just needed to get up and do something. Now go get ready and change, we got people coming over." he shoos them with his oven mitt.

Mrs. Moore thanks the girls as she tidies up the kitchen and they head upstairs preparing themselves for the day.

Having freshly showered, Maddie puts on a bit of lip gloss as she gets one more look at herself in the mirror. She heads downstairs after and her cousin smiles, noticing the glow on her face.

"Oh, you look good." Ziora hypes the girl up. "Do a little spin."

Maddie laughs at her cousin as she grabs her hand to spin her around. Maddie is in a red velvet dress, she bought it a while ago and it was a little loose, but now it's perfectly fitted to her body. Simply saying she looks good is an understatement.

"Look at you though, you look good. Getting a little thick over there huh?" Maddie compliments her cousin.

Ziora and Maddie have been close in height for years, but Ziora has always been on the curvier side, inheriting that from her mother. She's always liked her body but now it's like she's gone through a second puberty. Her hips have come in a little more and her legs have just become thicker overall.

"Thank you." Ziora replies, doing a little dance as they giggle.

"It's them backshots huh?" Maddie whispers.

"You know it." Ziora smiles, putting her tongue over her teeth.

"Behave." Mrs. Moore snickers at her daughter and niece as she walks into the kitchen. "Before I remind you how you got here."

Ziora and Maddie's mouths both drop at her words as Mrs. Moore puts her tongue over her teeth.

"There's no need for that." Ziora says as she looks away from her mother, jokingly gagging.

"I second that." Maddie says.

Mrs. Moore is aware that Ziora is active, she's almost 20 years old and they have a very open relationship, she's not judging her daughter at all. She just likes to mess with her every once in a while.
