"Anything you have to say for other athletes on campus?" Maddie asks as she looks up from her computer. "Like general advice?"

She's interviewing Aaliyah for her section this week, she thought no better than to ask the star athlete on campus some questions about sports.

Plus it takes her mind off of Taehyung.

"I'd say to remember that you're a student before anything." Aaliyah responds as Maddie quickly types what she says down and smiles. Now all she has to do is type it in standard format later.

"Thank you again for this."

"No problem." Aaliyah says as she walks into the living room. Just as she's about to sit on the couch she sees Maddie's phone vibrate on the table. It does it again 3 times before it stops and she picks it up.

She glances at the name and hands the phone to her friend. Maddie unlocks her phone and looks at the messages before locking it again. Going back to typing, Aaliyah sits back at the table, staring at her friend.

"What did he say?" Aaliyah asks.

Maddie unlocks her phone once again and then slides the phone to Aaliyah. She picks it up and stares at the message, internally sighing.

It's been a couple of days since Maddie saw Taehyung and Aria. He texted her all weekend and at first, she was responding dryly and when she left him on delivered she blamed her lack of response on school.

But now she's not talking at all.

"Why won't you just talk to him?" Aaliyah asks, handing the phone back.

"Because he just did the same thing my ex did, it's even worse because he was the one I came crying to when Jordan did it." Maddie defends herself, still typing.

"I highly doubt after all this trouble to be with you in the first place he'd throw it all away for his ex. Didn't you say that he was still sitting by you and walking back home with you?"

Maddie nods and sits silently as Aaliyah talks. With all her heart she wants to believe that, truly. But at the end of the day, he still didn't tell her why he needed that 30 minutes, he didn't bring it up all weekend.

"I know it's the bare minimum but he wants to talk, can't you just hear him out?"

Maddie glances over at her friend before looking back at her computer and sighing. "I'll think about it, you and Jimin hang out too much."

Aaliyah smiles softly before Maddie closes her laptop. Picking up her phone she immediately goes to Instagram, watching people's stories.

It takes a few people but Jordan's story eventually pops up. She smacks her teeth at the picture seeing it's of him and a girl who she can only assume is Jalece. Aaliyah looks up from the noise and asks what happened. She shows her the picture of them cuddled up together and shakes her head.

"That nigga can't be serious." Aaliyah scoffs.

"I didn't even realize I still followed him. Guess I can't be mad though." Maddie responds as she clicks on his profile, officially blocking him. "I'm just gonna go to sleep."

"Okay, goodnight." Aaliyah says, immediately going to the living room to turn on the TV. "My professor isn't here for the rest of the week. I'm taking advantage of it while I still can."
