Maddie has not left her suite to do anything outside of class since Wednesday night. On top of what Jordan said to her, Ziora told her that he slept with Jalece. She wasn't completely sure but it was confirmed once he started texting her bullshit, saying that she was the only one he wants now.

That was the icing on the cake for her.

It's now Friday and instead of doing anything productive, she's watching Disney movies in her room, laying down about to take a nap.

"Your friend is here." her roommate Aaliyah says as she pops her head into the room.

Playing for the school's varsity basketball team, she's barely in the suite when Maddie is. However when she is, Maddie is usually out of her room to talk to her and lately, she hasn't been.

Even she was worried.

Taehyung enters the room with a cup in one hand and a bag in the other. He smiles at her as he approaches her and sets them on the table.

She assumes he just grabbed this after class as he's still wearing the same outfit. Which makes her guilty for interrupting his break.

"You okay?" he says gently as he crouches down and moves a curl from her face to get a better look at her.

Her face is puffy and she has a slight frown on her face, her eyes looking dull, as opposed to their usual bright look.

She doesn't say anything and looks at the food instead to avoid eye contact with him.

"You got this for me?" she says as she sits up, grabbing the items, wanting to change the subject.

"Yeah. I know a good old Mcdonald's meal will make you happy when I can't." he sighs as he grabs the chair from her desk.

She takes a couple of her fries and a sip of her drink and Taehyung watches. He doesn't want to force her to talk about anything and will sit here his entire break if he has to.

Be vulnerable, you can't be silent for life.

Maddie takes a deep sigh.

"He told me we weren't actually in a relationship," she says quietly, looking embarrassed as she eats her food.

Taehyungs face drops to a frown. He's about to open his mouth to say something until he sees Maddie open hers.

"And then he slept with his ex at her party." she utters.

That same silence fills the room. Taehyung decides to wait several moments before he says anything and watches Maddie play with the rings on her fingers.

He can't help but think, 'What an asshole', to himself again about the whole situation with Jordan. If they truly weren't together, it would've and should've been stated beforehand. Situationships are usually only called that by the person who gives it that title, while the other one just thinks of it as a relationship. And clearly, Maddie was not made aware of them not being together.

But on top of that, he also betrayed her. To sleep with an ex after one argument is extremely stupid and sets up the type of person you are. Additionally, it shows that he was never over his ex.

Maddie was nothing but a rebound to him.

He grabs her hand as rubs it with his thumb and looks her in her eyes.

"Madeline I've known you for years and I can tell you right now, you could do so much better than Jordan. You deserve someone who is actually going to put in the same amount of effort and more to be with you." his voice gentle and calm, assuring her that she did nothing wrong.
