"Am I alive?" I groaned as I started to open my eyes.
I immediately shut them after I opened them because of the pain on the side of my head. I looked to my side and saw...
"Nancy?" I mumbled quietly.
"Sof, I'm Mike." He said quietly.
I tried moving, but he held me in place.
"Shhh, don't touch it. You put up a good fight. He kicked your ass, but you put up a good fight." I heard Dustin say from my other side.
I started looking around again and realized we were no longer in my house. We were in a car.
"What?" I heard a voice directly beneath me. I looked down and saw Steve. We both made eye contact and were extremely confused.
"Okay, you're gonna keep straight for a half a mile, then make a left on Mount Sinai." I heard Lucas say from the passenger seat.
"What's going on?" Steve grumbled.
Wait. If he's not driving the car and I'm not driving the car, then who...
Max turned around to look at us from the drivers seat.
"Oh, my God!" Steve and I shouted at the same time, while trying to get up.
"Guys, just relax. She's driven before." Dustin tried to reason.
"Yeah, in a parking lot." Mike interjected.
"That counts!" Dustin shouted at him over mine and Steve's heads.
How did they even get us in here?
"We were gonna leave you guys behind, but we can't leave the one with the powers behind." Dustin explained while the car picked up speed.
"Oh, my God!" Steve panicked, this time louder.
"I promised that you'd be cool, okay?" Dustin shouted as he tried to keep Steve calm.
I didn't want to panic because there was no point. We couldn't take control of the car from the backseat.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What's going on?" Steve said again and continued to try and get up.
The car significantly increased in speed and we all jerked back.
"Oh, my God! No! Whoa!" I shouted and closed my eyes. "I think I'm gonna be sick!"
"Stop the car. Slow down." Steve said.
"I told you they'd freak out!" Mike shouted at Dustin.
"Stop the car!" Steve and I shouted.
"Everybody shut up! I'm trying to focus!" Max shouted over everyone else's yelling.
"Oh, wait, that's Mount Sinai. Make a left." Lucas said once Max stopped yelling at us.
"What?"
"Make a left!" Lucas shouted.
"Shit!" Max cursed and the car jerked to the left.
She started screaming, which initiated for all of us to start screaming. She ran over someones mailbox and our screams only grew louder. We all screamed and held onto each other as the car swerved through the road.
The car continued moving and so did our screams, until the car jerked into a sudden stop. We all flew forward.
"Ah! Hello!" Steve screamed as he caught himself from flying through the windshield.
"Whoa!" Dustin breathed out.
"Incredible." Mike said.
"I told you. Zoomer."
