The weather was irritating today. I expected it to be cold, but all I got was heat. I fanned my face while sitting in the passenger seat of Ved's car. I had no clue where we were going, nor did I ask for this. I wanted to be alone after everything that happened last week. Bhai and Ved gave me my space for a couple of days, but they planned an outing as soon as the weekend came. This guy beside me is busy 24/7, so I wonder how and why he took two days off. I wish he got a work call, and we have to go back because I am in my worst mood, and this shitty traffic that we are stuck into is not helping to raise it either.
I was glad that I tied my hair in two loose braids. My bangs and a few loose strands covered some parts of my face. I let them be. It's too much work to take them away. I was into sky-blue shorts and a white crop top. I paired it with white shoes.
I sighed when the car didn't move even when the signal turned green. My eyes wandered around and caught a girl in the car, which was beside us.
She gave a widest smile and waved at me. She further held her mobile above and gestured something. Maybe she was asking for a picture. I wanted to scream in her face.
Don't people have the tinniest brains? Where are we? What are we into? They should at least consider that much, isn't it?
I pressed a smile and shook my head negatively. I gestured at the traffic. She pouted but made a heart of her hands and showed it to me. I smiled again and mouthed a thank you to her.
"Move the car," I said while watching Ved again. "Enjoy your fan moment," He mumbled. I frowned.
"She might even jump in this car to get a picture if you don't move this thing," I said. He gave me a plain look.
"Well, I have a car. Not a plane, you see?" He asked in irritation. I groaned but couldn't do anything.
"I asked you to wake up at 6 at least, but you made it 8.30 and that too when I kicked out of that bed. If you had listened to other people, then you wouldn't have ended this way," He said. Double meaning. I get it. It's so Vedarsh Malhotra.
"Thanks for your kind words. I will consider this advice. You should have been born to my mother. You both go well together," I said. He glared at me.
"At least you know you still have fans," He said while pointing to the car. I watched behind again. Now that girl, one more girl beside her and the boys in the front seat. Everyone was staring at me. So creepy.
I pressed a smile and opened the compartment before me. I took out a black cap from it and put it over my head to cover my face. I can't deal with this.
