It was just a piece of cake for Bhai to find Ved's address. He had a proud smirk on his face when he did that. I kept listening to all the information he found out.
"Meera Rao. She originally belonged to Mumbai, Maharashtra. She married the senior manager of Taj Palace Hotel, Pushkar Malhotra. He belonged to Delhi originally but had recently moved to Mumbai that year for work. It was an arranged thing. I heard they never got along. They had Ved a year after and started living separately when he turned 3 or something. He was sent to his paternal grandparents in Amritsar. Later, he moved to Delhi for educational purposes, and since then, living there on his own," He finished.
"What about now?" I asked. Bhai sighed as he sat before me.
"You didn't know any of these. Didn't you?" He asked. I scoffed loudly. "I knew," I said while defending myself.
"She didn't. I can tell," Shaan commented without taking out his head from his mobile. I feel like hitting him with anything heavy I find around. I gritted my teeth but instead moved my attention to Bhai.
"Speak ahead, Bhai," I said.
"She is married to Alok Wilson," He said. I made a face.
"It's weird to hear that," Shaan commented. I would agree with him but I won't accept. "I don't know. He is British Indian, I guess," Bhai said.
"Anyway, he is a windower. He runs the successful fashion brand, FRAME..." I cut him in middle.
"What? I thought he was someone else," I mumbled with a frown. "Like who?" Bhai asked.
"No one. I didn't give it a thought," I said. He sighed and continued while ignoring me, "He has a son and daughter from his previous marriage. Ryan and Aniya. The girl is married and settled to the USA. Boy is a couple of years older to Ved. That's all I know," He finished.
I nodded. "That's quite something," I mumbled. "Did you talk to Baba?" Bhai asked.
I nodded. "Hmm... He said it's fine as there are still a couple of months for album's release," I muttered while being in my thoughts.
I needed to reach him somehow. He is a tough shell to break. Moreover, he is stubborn and won't budge if he decides something. I needed to put some sense into his tiny brain. Useless creature.
"How could we reach him?" I asked.
Bhai looked like he was in deep thoughts. Shaan moved his head out of the mobile screen and watched me.
"She doesn't endorse them?" He asked. Bhai watched up. His face was lit now. I frowned. "I'm not going to beg them to take me as their ambassador," I said.
"That's not needed. You already have an offer from them. You got it previously as well, but you had a contract for their rival. We couldn't process that. Now, as AIRE hasn't renewed your contract for the past 2 years, we can move on to them. He does give some ideas," Bhai said. Shaan smirked. I rolled my eyes.
