❝In your eyes, I see memories I have yet to make, and in your heart, I find a love I never knew existed.❞

"I loved this one," I declared to Ved. He looked around the place again and back at me. It was a 5BHK apartment. I only agreed to move with him here on the condition that I'll be investing money as well. He agreed, saying the rates in Delhi are high anyway. I glared, to which he laughed wholeheartedly.
Anyway, we found a 5BHK duplex apartment. It consumed the 8th and 9th floors and had a beautiful view of the city. The living room was spacious and had a large balcony area. "I will install plush, comfortable sofas or armchairs on the balcony. I have also thought of planting. I will ask Mamma to do that," I said. Ved chuckled but nodded.
Furthermore, it had 5 giant rooms. "One would be the guest room," I said.
"One would be the music room for you to practice," He said. I smiled as I added, "We should do something to make it soundproof."
"One for us and the other could be your study and the remaining one spare. We can think about it later," I said happily.
"Isn't this place small for you?" He asked. "Are you taunting me?" I asked. He laughed but shrugged. "I mean, you live in a penthouse," He asked. I rolled my eyes. "That's Mamma and Baba's dream home. My budget is low," I said.
He scoffed loudly. "See, I am standing here, and that big area is free. What am I supposed to do in giant houses? Small ones give me a cosy, comfortable feel," I said. He didn't say anything about that.
"It's just two of us anyway," I said and walked through the passage to get to the living room again. I stood in front of the stairs. "Three rooms above, two down with living room, kitchen and dining area," I mumbled. Ved stood beside me.
"Hmm..." I said with a nod. "The music room will be on the ground floor along with the study," I said and watched Ved. "No need for the guest room. No one will be allowed to stay over," I said. He gave me a look and climbed the stairs to get to the above floor. I followed him there.
I loved this apartment a lot. The three rooms again had balconies but comparatively smaller ones than the large balcony area of the living room. "We will have an offbeat chair with cushions here," I said. He watched me briefly before looking around. "A chandelier here in the middle," I declared further while standing in the corridor between those three rooms. The glass wall on the front side gave a spectacular view.
I loved how bright this place was. It was windy here as well. I twirled while being happy and was caught by Ved. I gasped as I twisted my leg, but he held me tightly close to him. "Watch out, Ayra," He said in an understanding voice.
"Let's fix this if you like," I said. He nodded while letting me go now. "This is good, but are you sure you don't want to look for more? We have just seen 2 until now, and there are still a few in the list," He said. "No, Ved, I loved this," I said again.
