"Thank you," Polen takes the cup of coffee Unez places in front of her as Can just eyes his teacup before he purses his lips.

"You're saying he's going to be flying to Canada a lot?" Polen lifts a brow. "So what? He's going to have one foot in Canada and one in Turkey, right?" Can shakes his head and scoffs. He didn't believe that for a second. "Right? But he's acting like he's going to shoot roots here in Istanbul and stay forever." Ridiculous!

"I don't know what he's planning if I'm honest. He usually goes back, that's what I meant, so most likely, it's the same situation now."

Can nods. That would be preferrable. This thought is nagged at by his irritation however. "Publishing is a very serious business, though. It requires constant attention, and an unbendable schedule. Now I don't know Yigit, but my first impression of him..." He waves a hand midway. "He looks flighty, like he makes thoughtless decisions and hopes for the best. You know? Do you understand what I'm trying to say? He comes in and offers Sanem a job, and he acts strangely, he's always around...it's weird." He shifts in his chair and grimaces thinking about how Yigit was always around now. Obviously he was into Sanem.

"Can, Yigit is a very intelligent and logical person."

Meh..

"If he offered Sanem a job, there's something that he saw. Some kind of potential."

"I don't know," Can itches at the idea, muttering, "I don't trust it. It's not... it's very sudden and too coincidental...But," he raises his voice, "either way, he's right, Sanem does have a lot of potential, I'll never argue with that."

Polen nods boredly, touching her earring as she looks out the window, humming.

Can however didn't notice this as he was still busy voicing his concerns out loud to himself. "Her career at the agency shouldn't be interrupted like this. She's just started, I have no clue what she's thinking...She's also got clouds for brains..." He looks up from tapping his pencil as he spoke, then frowns at Polen smiling like she just realized pools were fun in Summertime. "What?"

"They're the same!"

Excuse me? Can's eyebrows shoot up.

"You notice so much more than others," she chuckles. "Who would have guessed they'd ever find each other? Not me. But I have to say, I did notice some energy..."

Nope. Can turns to his laptop, his lips turned down in disagreement and switches it on before he pulls closer the list of items to tick down on the night's feedback, ignoring whatever she was about to say next. Not talking about that at all.

"So, what do you think?" Yigit spins to Sanem with a grin, his arms outstretched. They'd finally gotten down to talking about the office and what was expected.

"The office is very beautiful," Sanem says with a nod and he grins wider. "But," she pauses, "what you said about what I would have to do? I don't know if I can handle it, or if I'm even capable of doing all of that. Certain amounts of chapters a day and all of that..." she trails off unsurely.

"Of course you can handle it. You're the person the publisher wants to work with, and he'll wait until you are ready. In this case, that's me."

Sanem thinks it over a moment. "Really?"

"Yes! You write very well, firstly. I already told you so. And secondly, getting published isn't that hard if you know your stuff. Don't sell yourself so short Sanem. You worked in PR, and advertising, and you understand trade. You have all the tools needed to succeed in both writing and publishing."
