The next morning, Sanem stood in front of the board for a good five minutes before she turned the page and wrote 11. She looks over at Can standing on the other side of the wall watching her, then goes back to her desk, JJ giving her a sad look.

Can, who is supposed to be looking at the samples Ahmet was showing him, turns the page, but his eyes are on the board.

Just as he is about to return his attention to working, Yigit comes in and knocks on the first desk to his left in greeting with a smile. "Sanem!" he calls when he spots her.

What do you want? Can puts his hands on his hips, narrowing his eyes.

"Yigit?"

Sanem stands up and Can looks her up and down. Jump him why don't you? That was way too eager.

"What are you doing here?"

"I have some good news for you. I couldn't stand to wait so I came up."

"What is it?"

Can looks between them. Yeah what?

"We spoke about that writer yesterday, remember? You said she could have done better?"

"Yes?"

"I got in touch with her manager and told her we had some thoughts. And guess what? We have a meeting with her in a week."

"Really?!" Sanem beams excitedly. "I'm so happy!" She was going to meet an actual writer and get to ask her questions! She had her opinions on the woman's work but she still admired her for doing what she loved.

"And I'm damn worried," Yigit laughs, mirroring her excitement.

Right... Can clears his throat. "Excuse me, Yigit?" Yigit turns to him. "What is going on here? What's with the squealing?"

Sanem chews her bottom lip and turns to Can as well when Yigit asks, "Were we making noise?"

"Uh, yeah," Can nods.

"Sorry everyone," Yigit apologizes then turns back to Can. "Happy?" He shrugs then. "I was just giving Sanem some good news."

"Is this good news somehow related to Fikri Harika?" Can asks.

"No but - "

Can holds up his hands. "This is Fikri Harika, not Publishing Wannabes. I don't think Fikri Harika's employees are interested in some writer that you're meeting. I know because I'm not interested, so..." Can shrugs.

"Sanem - "

"Sanem is at her actual job right now and we have important things to do. We have to concentrate. So, I'm begging you," he points in the general direction of the bridge leading out. "Please let us do it in peace."

"You're right," Yigit nods with an understanding smile that Can wanted to slap off his face. "I have a better idea, anyway," Yigit looks at Sanem. "Why don't we continue downstairs after work over dinner?"

Can looks up from the file he had been about to take from Ahmet. Seriously?!

"We can talk about what we'll talk to her about when we meet her."

"Sorry but Sanem's working overtime today," Can says before Sanem can even say a word and she turns to him with an irritated look. He smiles cutely, batting his lashes. She pushes her tongue into her cheek and purses her lips, shaking her head a little.

"I can wait an hour or two. I have some things to sort out."

"I'll call you when I'm done," Sanem says after turning back to Yigit.
