Full and feeling human again, Sanem sat in the window later, looking out at the snow with a smile.

In the kitchen, Can looked at her as he got a small plate of wallnuts and went over. "This indigo blue really suits you," he says with an impressed purse of his lips and a nod.

Sanem stops smiling and angles away when he sits down on the  opposite chair.

"You're like a cute eggplant." He shrugs. "I know you're full but eat a few nuts too." He cracks one and gives it to her, leaning across the table.

She takes it and pops it into her mouth, chewing fast, recrossing her arms.

"Are we back to this then?" Can asks. "Sitting in silent silence silently, not talking about anything. Is that it? Hm?" he eyes her as he opens more nuts.

Sanem stops chewing and shifts in her chair to face him. It wasn't that she didn't want to talk. She was angry because he chose now to want to talk. The time for ironing things out was past. It was time to come to some common ground so they could get past the past. But she was not going to make it easy on him. He's been a headache and it was payback time.

"Can - " she starts and he glances up, and back down, cracking another nut. "I love you very much." He stops cracking, staring at her. She looks at the snow again and frowns. "I don't know how to start..."

Can puts the nut down and wipes his hands, staying silent and waiting.

Sanem looks at him again. "Let's start from the beginning?" she offers with a smile. "I don't want to lose you."

His blinks and his eyes held the hint of hope.

"Is that what you expected me to say?" Sanem asks, batting her lashes and then she drops the smile.

Can's mouth drops open a smidge. Wha - huh?

She scoffs, takes a nut then sits back and angles herself away again, rolling her eyes, her leg crossing and bouncing as she chewed.

Turning his face to hide the frustration, he sits back too, leaning his chin in his hand and looking at her, his head tilted to the side.

"Sanem." She doesn't look at him. "Sanem," he repeats, not blinking while she looked like she couldn't care less what he had to say. "You are one of the few miracles in my life."

Her leg stops bouncing and her eyes slide to the side a second then away. Oh my God... her heart beat faster.

"You are the light in my heart and you are in every breath I take."

Now her head outright turns and she looks at him.

"I love you more than anything, believe me."

Sanem swallows down the idiotic tears of joy and it must look like she doesn't know if she wants to smile or not.

"That's what you want me to say, isn't it?" Can asks. "That it's still like that?"

She narrows her eyes while he looks down at his nuts again, sitting forward. "Don't say anything," she says heatedly. "In fact, I want to hear nothing but silence from your corner."

Someone doesn't like having it turned on her...

She stands up, huffing annoyedly. "You don't have to remind me, I know. How can it still be so when what was has obviously passed?" she says and walks to the kitchen as he watches, eating pieces of nuts. She pours some tea and shrugs, sipping, and shaking her head. "What can I say?" She had no words. She actually almost fell for it. Stupid Can with his stupid unlying eyes and deep voice...
"I'm leaving." She turns suddenly and puts down the cup. "If you don't mind, I think I'll just leave everything and go home." She goes to the couch where their jackets were and picks hers up.
