Emre was in shock from what Polen just told him over the phone.
She was also panicking so he tells her he would call his brother and let her know then hangs up before he walks down to Deren's office and quickly informs her he was leaving.

-

"Wait! Emre?" Deren calls as soon as Emre leaves and gets up, her heels following him but he keeps walking. "Emre? Where are you going?"

"Miss Deren?"

Deren comes to stop and looks at Guliz. "Yes Guliz?"

"Can I leave early? I have something personal to attend to."

"No you can't leave Guliz. JJ had personal business and left. Emre just left. And who knows where Can and his personal business is," she lifts her arms and drops them in defeat.

"But - "

"No but. No but. You think I don't have personal things to do too? I do. But you don't see me going out whenever I want do you? If I am here, you are here. Got it?" She turns and walks back to her office.

"Got it," Guliz mocks silently and clicks her tongue.

"I heard that!" Deren snaps. "And tell everyone that from now on, any and all personal business is banned in this office!"

"Did I say stop talking?" Can asks and glances at a now quiet Sanem. "No, I said we're talking. Why are you silent now?" Can shakes his head. "Okay, so we didn't talk when you wanted to, but we can now..." She keeps quiet. "Just so you know," he goes on, "we have talked before. I did listen. I even explained everything to you. I told you I was confused, and I was hurt. You knew the situation. And what did you do? You went and threw yourself into Yigit's fucking arms."

Sanem's head whips to him and she glares.

"How could you Sanem? And don't even try to deny it. I'm not blind. You became Yigit's partner to piss me off. It isn't fair. You can't do that."

She turns away again.

"Oh, by all means, don't say anything to defend yourself now, I dare you. Just sit there all silent and glaring. Gold star for you!" He looks in his side mirror. "You think you're stubborn? Baby, I have news for you, I'm even worse," he scoffs. "Me? I'm even more stubborn than you on your worst day."

Sanem lifts a brow and then reaches over to the radio. Can looks at her turning it on and then turning up the volume before she puts a hand under her chin and looks out the window again.

Frowning, he sniffs and refocuses on the road as the rock music blares out any chance at talking.

Sanem starts to slowly get into the song and moves her shoulders side- eyeing him when he cringes at the loud screaming in his ears.

"What?!" Leyla jumps up from her chair. "Kidnapped? Mr Emre, what did he do now? Where is he taking her?"

"I don't know Leyla," Emre shrugs as she picks up her phone. "Apparently he threw her over his shoulder, put her in the car and drove off." He snorts, shaking his head.

"This isn't funny. Do you hear what you're saying? 'He threw her over his shoulder, put her in the car and drove off'? What century is this? Why can't those two act like normal, well mannered people?"

Emre outright chuckles now. "They're both stubborn mules, you know that. If they could act like well mannered people it never would have come to this."

"She's not answering," Leyla huffs and puts down her phone, pursing her lips.

He nods then points at the door.
"Stay calm. If I hear anything I'll let you know."
