*KNOCK*
*KNOCK*
*KNOCK*
Inko Midoriya opened her eyes to the sudden raps on her hotel room door.
*KNOCK*
*KNOCK*
*KNOCK*
The knocks kept coming as she forced herself to sit up despite her sleep-ridden eyes.
"Who is it?"
Coming from the door was a panicked voice. "Grandma! It's me!"
If Inko wasn't awake before, she sure was now. "Eri?-"
She jumped out of bed and rushed to the door, pulling it open and seeing the sight of a fearful little girl.
"-What's wrong, dear?"
The child leapt into her grandmother's arms as she flailed a piece of paper. "Mama left a note saying she went out, but it's been ages, and she isn't answering her phone either!"
Inko's eyes widened as she took the note and read it, concern growing in her as she had a realisation, looking around the room.
"Wait, where's Izuku?"
"Papa's gone too!?"
Inko placed a hand on the girl's head to soothe the child and herself. "Keep calm, Eri. I'm sure they're both fine...-"
She then spotted a note beside the bed before going to read it.
"-...Izuku went out with, Ryuko?"
"Papa did?"
The grandmother looked at a clock on the bedside table. It was starting to get late. But she tried to remain calm. Ryuko seemed a bit upset before, and Izuku probably wanted to help her with whatever was bothering her.
They were probably ok. Nothing had necessarily gone wrong... yet.
Inko turned back to Eri. "Look, I'm sure they are both fine. They're both strong heroes, after all. Why don't we just try to relax and watch TV until they come back?"
The girl nodded with a slight frown as she sat up on the bed. "Ok..."
The green guardian grabbed a remote, switching on the widescreen TV before sitting next to Eri.
Immediately popping up on the screen was the local news...
"For those of you just joining us... We're here in downtown Nishihara in Okinawa, surrounded by unverified amounts of damage in the wake of the ongoing villain attack by a large dragon-like creature with three heads.-"
