The Heights Alliance dorms were abuzz recently, with all the UA students now on winter break. Everywhere were lively discussions about vacation plans, part-time jobs, work-studies, and other topics.

It wasn't only our Class 1-A students participating in these conversations. Their sister class, 1-B, was also lively in their dorm building...

"Hmmmmm..."

Itsuka Kendou was staring out the window of her dorm's common-room as she sat at a small table, her countenance forlorn in reflection.

The lizard-esque Tokage—sitting nearby on the sofa with the other girls—leaned forward and narrowed her eyes curiously. "You know you've been spacing out a lot lately, Itsuka. It's super sus."

The redhead snapped out of a daze and gawked in a sheepish response. "Ah, sorry, don't mind me... I'm fine. Really."

"Uh-huh... that's totally not even more sus." She squinted back harder.

The ever-quiet Yui nodded her head in response. "Mmm-mmm."

The ghostly Yanagi also leaned forward to look at Itsuka, her hands crooked forward like the apparitions of her heroic namesake. "Are you still thinking about joining Ryukyu's agency?"

Itsuka had a bead of sweat drop from her temple as Tokage turned to Yanagi in confusion. "Ryukyu? Why her?-"

She looked back at the redhead.

"-Weren't you on Kamui-Woods' team?"

Itsuka stammered ever so slightly. "Well... yeah, but...-"

Her eyes darted around slightly as if grasping for answers.

"-Ryukyu is a renowned martial artist and such! She's a lot more suited for my skill set...-"

Her face then became sullen with something akin to guilt.

"-But you're right. Kamui-Woods did make me an offer... and then there's the hero I'm currently working for to consider. And I don't even know if Ryukyu would want me..."

The mushroom-haired Komori then got curious. "Wait, I just realised you never told us who you and Yanagi are doing your current work-study with."

Both the class president and the ghost girl side glanced. ""That's not important...""

Tokage eyed the duo, suspicion flicking back and forth. "Now you're both sus."

The horn-adorned Tsunotori tapped her chin and looked up thoughtfully. "Sussy backaws?"

The lizard girl eyed her. "It's pronounced 'bakas.' Also, please don't use that phrase. It's cringe."
