"So you're sure we can use the training room again? Didn't I destroy most of the equipment not long ago?"
"That has all been repaired already; don't worry about it."
Izuku and Ryuko found themselves once again in the vast underground training area of the agency, having just stepped out of the elevator moments ago.
The objective was to assist Izuku in getting ready for his upcoming final exam, which draws nearer with each passing day. With the concerns regarding Hadena and the interview no longer a burden, or at least not as much, they can now wholeheartedly focus on this task—when not on patrol or dealing with school, of course.
Izuku cocked an eyebrow. "Really? All of it, already? How?"
Ryuko smirked slightly, bearing a hint of pride. "Amongst the many automated machines at my disposal, construction robots are among them."
The boy's eyes went stupidly wide as his jaw hung limply. "You even have construction bots!? The ones only used by the richest and most successful construction companies!? ...I knew you were rich, but... wow."
His mind envisioned the heavy-duty machines he observed milling around various construction sites. The mechanical giants towered over All-Might's muscle form, with enormous metal arms and hydraulic attachments adorning them.
Ryuko merely shrugged.
"It's not just my finances that allowed me to acquire them. Throughout my career, I've saved a few big construction companies from heavy losses due to villain activities. So I have some good friends in the construction business, friends willing to cut a deal on selling off slightly older model machines that have become redundant."
"Oh, wow... More hero work paying dividends."
"Exactly, and I don't need the latest models to keep the agency in top shape since it's not particularly heavy-duty work. This building is pretty much self-sufficient at this point. I can easily repair, modify, and expand as needed. All I require is permission from the district authorities."
Izuku was once again astounded by the casual slap in the face of how well-off Ryuko was. "You know... it's almost surreal that all the rich and ultra-successful people I know are super nice and not as arrogant or corrupt as stereotypes have led me to think."
Ryuko chuckled. "Yes, but I'm assuming all of them are heroes or heroes-in-training who put their lives on the line for others. Not exactly the same thing as your typical rich person."
"That's fair..."
Ryuko pushed a button to make all the now-repaired equipment spring out before them. "So where would you like to start, Izuku? There are many routes we could take with training today."
Izuku nodded with a slight sigh and smile. "Tell me about it...
