~~~Three moons later~~~
"Thank you for coming with me, My lady."
"It's not a hassle, I can't leave King's Landing without knowing if it's true."
Mariell held Alyssa's arm with her own, the light from the windows silhouetted against the dark walls as they descended the grand staircase to get to their destination, "It hurts me that you're leaving so soon, Mariell."
"I promise I'll come and visit, my time as your lady has been a wonderful one." Her dark eyes sparkled in conjunction with her friendly smile
"I do hope so, and that this is not a way to run away from me." The ladies' laughter was not more than a whisper to others as they entered the court where the day had already begun, and indescribably many nobility had begun the morning with their daily, sinful, but daily gossip.
They all turned around to acknowledge Alyssa and Mariell who walked ever so hastly through the great hall and down another flight of stairs.
"It looks like you're sure of this, Aly," Mariell said, turning her head towards the silver-haired woman with a supportive look. "No, I'm not. But it's been some time now and I want to be sure."
"Let's hope for the best, my friend."
"Indeed"
Mariell knocked on the door and waited for a response from the old man, hoping that he would answer the door soon so the conversation could begin.
After knocking twice, the door to the room that smelled of incense and medicine finally opened. The grand maester opened the door and was not afraid to see the princess and her lady there.
"In what way can I be helpful to you, princess?"
Alyssa switched feet to support her body weight and cleared her throat before speaking, "I need to be examined."
He nodded and let them into the room. There, Alyssa had to sit down on a chair by the window where the waves of the sea were playing.
"What's the reason for this examination, my lady?"
The two ladies told him about their suspisions and the old man began to examinera her carefully. "If it's not true, Then I'm sure its all the lamb you have eaten."
"It's not that" Alyssa assured while the maester continued to check her condition.
Mariell chuckled at her friend who was completely sure that she was wrong about the statement "Are you saying that becuase you won't stop eat it or becuase you are so sure of your suspision?"
"If I get ill due to the ammoumt of meat I eat It'l at least be worth it."
The old man finished his job and nodded slowly at the princess, "It was as you assumed, you are with child."
