Zoe's POV

I stand at the ancestor tombs staring up at Ryker. My heart pounds with joy at his admission. "You really love me?" I asked him with a smile escaping my lips. His declaration scared me but it was what I needed to hear. "Yes. You'er the only thing in this world I've ever really loved" said Ryker. "That's so romantic," I said, teasing him. "I'm not romantic" he said back looking serious.

I wrap my arms around Ryker's neck and look up at him. "You are romantic in more ways than you know. The way you look at me is romantic. Your protectiveness and your caring are romantic" I said. "It's not that uncertain. So far we've accomplished what we've wanted to accomplish" I said. "You and Alcina are the only family I have left. The only thing that's left for us is to start a family" said Ryker. I laugh, enjoying the rare moment that Ryker has his guard down. "We're already a family and if we decide to make kids a part of that then that's okay too" I said. Ryker's eyes search as he presses a lock of hair behind my ear.

"Tomorrow's going to be a hard fight. If something happens to me I don't want you to doubt the depth of my feelings for you" said Ryker softly. "I won't doubt your feelings Ryker. We're so connected. I know what you're saying is true" I said. I lean up and press my lips to Ryker's. He pulls me closer. I deepen the kiss and pull away. I lean closer to Ryker pressing my lips to his ear. "I need you more than you know Ryker. You're everything I've ever wanted in a partner" I said to him.

"I know I don't talk about my feelings but I love you so much and if I don't proclaim it all the time just know it's always true" said Ryker. I look into Ryker's eyes and know without a doubt I'm deeply in love with him. His eyes are vulnerable as they lock with mine. "You've owned my heart for a long time but now I willingly give it to you" said Ryker. I hold his gaze and see the unbridled love that shines there for me. "I'm completely in love with you too, Ryker," I said.

I watched as he laughed. "I know how much you do feel," said Ryker. "See, it makes us vulnerable," I teased. We both laughed as we looked into each other's eyes. It turned into sweet smiles. "I'm going to show you how great we can be together," said Ryker confidently. "Oh yeah? How are you going to do that?" I asked him. "I'm going to make love to you," said Ryker. "We've already been making love," I teased. Ryker's hands grip my hips bringing my body flush against his. "You're right but this will be different.
