Chapter 4

Micaéla 

Today was my second day living here with my dad and I am enjoying it yesterday I got to see my cousin who also happens to be my Godsister Brae and we were so happy to see each other like she was even more excited when she found out that I was actually living with my dad so that means we will see more of each other and hang out with each other.

My dad he was able to sign me up for ballet cause I did ballet in the Bahamas and so I start in two weeks plus he was also able to sign me up at the school Braelynn goes too cause he had to sign both me and Brandon up then he told me how me and Brae will be dancing in church and stuff so I just went along with whatever he told me.

It was still summertime well it was still June so yeah I had like a month left of summer school starts in August and then I will be in school until Christmas then next year January will be the next school semester.

" Micaéla come get up now breakfast is downstairs " said dad see it's summer and he waking me up like seriously.

" Why are you waking me up so early do you know it's summer sir so I can sleep in " I said turning over and pulling the cover over my head.

I guess he left my room cause he didn't say anything back that's what I would hope that's what he did.

" Why you still in this bed huh you thought I left out your room come get out this bed I am taking you and Braelynn out for breakfast " said dad.

I got out my bed and I went to the bathroom and I took a much needed shower once I was done I wrapped the towel around me and I went and washed my face then I brushed my teeth and that was it.

I walked in my room went in my closet and chose an outfit to wear I decided on some leggings with a dress and my sandals so that is what I slipped on after I put my underwear on then I went and moisturized myself with some lotion and I took my bonnet off fixing my braids.

I walked downstairs and daddy was standing by the island waiting on me he wore some jeans with a nike shirt and some nike airforce 1's and he had his shades on his shirt and he had his keys and he was ready to go I guess he was waiting for me.

" Daddy I'm ready to to go now and I guess you were waiting for me " I said as he walked out the kitchen and I followed him out the door.

We were in the car dad had already gotten Brae so now we were on our way to Ihop and I haven't had iHop in a while I miss their pancakes and stuff and then I miss Applebee's and all the other restaurants and stuff.

We were finally here so dad parked in the nearest parking spot then we all got out and we walked towards the restaurant so we walked in and the hostess showed us to a booth so we sat down and she handed us the menus and everything.

" So Uncle Micah you and dad ain't slick so yall making us dance in church every Sunday yall two are so alike " said Braelynn.
