"Chapter Nine"

The morpher goes off in the middle of the night. I would slowly sit up. Is Rita sending out monsters in this hour?

"Yea, Zordon?" I whispered in a hoarse voice.

"Violet. Zedd has returned."

Then my adrenaline immediately kicked in and immediately woke me up. Is this what she had been planning? To get Zedd back? I sighed.

"I'm on my way..." I said as I teleport to the command center.

I see everyone else also in PJs, tired but alert as well.

"What should we do?" Trini said tiredly.

"We need to plan ahead." Billy agreed.

I quietly looked at Zordon. That idea is still on the back of my mind — it's just so dangerous and risky.

"Violet?" Jason asked in concerned seeing I hadn't said anything.

"Mm...?" I said acting like I was still tired.

They were still looking at each other, trying to decide. I only take a deep breath.

"Rangers, I have an idea. Zordon and Alpha are made of aware of it but..."

"I would not recommend it, Violet. We need to think clearly." Zordon commented.

"What is he talking about?" Zack replied.

I would walk towards the controls. Instead of pressing anything, I just leaned against it.

"You see... what they're talking about is... is me faking betraying you guys and infiltrating the base and gather any of weakness to defeat them." I began.

They all gasped.

"That's dangerous!" Kim cried out.

"Yeah it's not a very good plan at all." Zack agreed.

"What other options do we have?" I said frowning, "I know if it were the case. I want to go there and stop everything. But worse case scenario: I'd be..." I made a gesture.

Jason immediately took a step forward.

"Please don't, we don't want you to get hurt or killed," He said in a worried tone.

I sighed. I immediately began to press buttons.

"What's on your mind now, Violet?" Billy asked.

"Zordon, care to explain?"

Zordon immediately read my mind.

"Violet is trying to say that Rita has a weakness."

"Weakness?" Trini asked as I nodded before pointing to the viewing globe.

The others took a look while I stood nearby Alpha.

"You're kidding!" Kim said surprised.

"It's Zedd?"

I nodded.

"Rita has always been loyal to Lord Zedd and will do anything to make him happy." Zordon adds.

I looked at Zordon.

"There's... something I left out on purpose." I said awkwardly.

"What is it?" Jason asked.

"Well... I wasn't created as Rita's mass destruction of the world... at first." I bite my lower lip, wincing.

The rangers were quiet, awaiting for my reply. I felt Alpha's hand resting on my shoulder to reassure me.

"You see the original plan was that when I was created, it was to impress Zedd. And..."

"What? What is it?"

I felt it had already begun: the "operation failsafe" had begun. It felt like a sharp pain in my neck.

"Violet!!" The rangers cried.

"Zordon... keep them away." I said wheezing in pain.

"Why—"

"JUST DO IT!" I said as Alpha would teleport them away.

"Zordon, you have to contain me because in a few minutes—" my neck pain all went to my head.

"Understood. Alpha."

"Ai ay ay!"

I'm sorry, guys... I can't let you guys get hurt.

I was teleported back into my room. I couldn't let see my girlfriend suffer especially after what she had been through recently. The communicator went down. I can't even teleport back. I immediately reached out to the rangers and they all said they're having issues reaching to Violet nor Zordon and Alpha.

Although I trust the three of them. But I just can't let Violet do this all alone again.

I would send another message.

Another error would pop up.

I would say I would crack into this. But I think it's best we have to sleep. It's late.

Billy's text come in. I reluctantly sigh. But I know I wouldn't get much sleep... I hope Violet is okay.
