WHAT'S THE HARDEST CHALLENGE YOU'VE HAD TO OVERCOME?

Victoria's smile quickly fades away at the mention of his name, "What about him?" she sighs and wraps her arms around Samuels neck.
"You aren't the only one he keeps threatening to snitch on," He moves back away from her soft arms and looks down at the sandy ground beneath him , but Victoria doesn't seem to mind.
She simply stares at him as he gazes away into the world, waiting for him to continue whatever it is he wanted to say.
"He came to me at school and asked me to do something, something I didn't want to do. In exchange he wouldn't rat me out to the police." He continues.
"Well what is it?" Victoria asks and comes closer to Samuel, "He knows something about my past that I don't want people to know, I can't have people know that." He says in a concerned tone.
Victoria starts to grow concerned as she hears the change of voice as he expresses his feelings, "What is it that you don't want people to know, Samuel?" She says, more demanding this time.
Samuel gets up and tries walking away but Victoria rushes after him and grabs his hand, not letting him go till he shares the story with her.
"If you want any chance with me, you have to be honest. I am sick and tired of guys lying to me all the time Samuel!" She yells, but she is quickly cut off by Samuel's confession, a confession she prays she didn't hear right.
"I killed someone!" He yells back, falling to his knees and putting his head in between. Victoria didn't know what she should do.
She was lost between running away and comforting him. Must she go down and hug him or take her bags and tell the cops what it is she had just heard? But she finally sits down and decides to listen to the rest of his story.
"I had a girlfriend," Samuel cries, "her name was Christina. She had ginger hair and had the most gorgeous smile on her face, a smile that never faded away," he tries, but his tears get in the way of his confession.
Victoria gets closer to him and gives him a tight hug. A hug she didn't understand whether it was meant to comfort him or her, "What happened to her?" She asks, keen on knowing the rest of it.
"When my father killed my mother," he chokes out, "Christina was over at my house. Her and I were upstairs watching a movie and we were startled by the gunshot we heard downstairs, so we ran down to see what had happened." he inhales deeply, "Christina, scared shitless, seeked shelter in me, but I didn't notice her walking behind me. I didn't know..." He cries more, "My father was so angry that when he saw me he tried shooting me too, but I stepped aside—"
"And the bullet hit Christina." Victoria interrupts.
"Yeah." Samuel turns to look at Victoria through the tears covering up his eyes. "I killed my girlfriend, and ran away from town. Now somehow I am here."
Silence filled the mountain for a minute, then ten, and then a whole hour passed by with no one saying anything to another. They simply sat there as they both drowned in their sorrows.
Pools of tears came out of Samuels eyes, and novels of questions were rushing in Victoria's head. "Quite the first date." Samuel giggles as he wipes his face, "I didn't know it was a date," Victoria teases, "I thought we were just two friends hanging around looking at stars." She bumps him with her shoulder.
"I'm sorry for ruining the night with my silly stories. First the murder, and now this—"
"You have not ruined anything Samuel," Victoria interrupts, "you're perfect." She adds.
"I'm sensing a but." Samuel looks deeper into Victoria's eyes, "What is it you want to add?"
Victoria gets up and gestures to get him up as well, "Let's walk and I'll tell you on our way." She struggles to pick Samuel up the first time, but it worked out fine the second after she used up all of her energy.
"So," He brushes the sand off his clothes with his hands, "what is it you want to do." Victoria stops to think for a moment as Samuel is gathering their stuff from the ground, "I think we should kill Damian," Her words catch Samuel off guard and he drops the bag of chips on the floor, "he's threatening to ruin our lives, so let's end his." She justifies.
Samuel leans down to pick up the bag of chips but doesn't immediately turn to face Victoria. He was stuck in a parallel world of choices. Should he listen to Victoria's plan, or should he carry on with Damians'?
"I don't know about killing people, my love." He finally says, "I mean I don't want to become the people I hate the most." He adds, but Victoria insists, "He is threatening to tell people about my family, Samuel." She shrieks.
"What about your family?" He stops, "Look," Victoria takes a deep breath, "some family secrets can't be shared, or at least I'm not ready to share them to anyone. But Damian knows and he keeps threatening to leak them to the school's web page and ruin my life, completely ruin my life Samuel." Her eyes start to water, "I don't want that son of a bitch to think he owns this town and think he has the right to do whatever he wants. That sibling fucker!" she screeches and drops her things on the floor, but Samuel rushes to hold her before she passes out and hits her head on the rock next to them.
