2 Months Until Victoria's Death...
"A baby!" Samuel exclaims, he's had a smile drawn all across his face since the moment Victoria decided to share the news with him. On the walk down the mountain. The road back home. Samuel hasn't given Victoria a chance to speak of how she felt about this with his repetition, "We're having a baby together!" He says again, for the millionth time. Victoria felt concerned and worried at first. A girl her age having a baby came into this world. At first, she thought of getting an abortion because she didn't quite understand what all of this meant. She didn't expect Samuel to be so ecstatic, but he shocked her with his happiness. "I know." Victoria smiled, "I can't believe it either!" A smile was tattooed on both of their faces all the way back to Victoria's house, but even their happiness was short lived.
"Dad," Victoria took a step back when she saw Mr. Blane sitting on the front porch of the house, his clothes ripped apart and a bottle of gin in his hand. The bottle was empty, and Mr. Blane was clearly as drunk as he could be. He tried standing up but instantly fell back down. "What are you doing here?" Victoria says, not taking a step closer to help her dad up. I wouldn't blame her, personally, her father was never really father of the year all this time. A man who left his daughter to rot alone all these years, blaming her for her mother's disappearance and his alcohol problems, when in reality, he was a weak man with a weaker mind. "I came to apologize," He manages to say, "Looks like you have company." He turns his gaze to Samuel who just stepped out of the car. "What the fuck is he doing here?"
"It's none of your business sir." Samuel smirks as he closes his door. "I apologize but this house is no longer yours." Victoria's father bursts into laughter as Samuel comes closer, close enough to make Victoria's heart drop, thinking Samuel was going to take another shot at her father's jaw. She found herself back in that moment when he hit her dad, and instantly got goosebumps. "Last time I checked this was my house, young man." Mr. Blane objects, "I am not going anywhere–"
"Yes you are. Sir." Samuel's eyes lock in with her father's, and his palm slowly turns into a fist. "Let's all calm down now." Victoria manages to work her feet and stand between the two rivals. "Dad," She turns to look at Mr. Blane, "Samuel is living with me now." Victoria's father looked baffled as he blankly looked at Victoria, like a man staring at a weird painting, "What do you mean living with me?" He raises his tone, "This is my house—"
"No the fuck it isn't." Samuel yells back. "You left your daughter to rot alone, you imbecile!" Samuel takes a step forward and Mr. Blane cowers back, fear eating up his face, "If you want to keep your jaw in place this time," Samuel closes the distance between them, "Pick up your stuff and fuck off." Mr. Blane's fear turns into rage. His face turning red like wine, and his veins popping out of his head, like they're about to burst out of his body. He leapt on Samuel, but Samuel was quick on his feet. He took a step to the side and grabbed him by the collar of his ripped shirt, sending him to the floor in a second. "You bitch!" Samuel pulls his arm back and swings at Mr. Blane's face. One hit. Two hits. "You take your stuff and go!" Victoria closed her eyes and pressed her knees against her chest. Not wanting to relive these traumatic events.
Mr. Blane was drunk out of his mind. Giggling as Samuel's fists connect to his face. Blood was pouring everywhere, and Samuel wasn't stopping. "Enough!" Victoria's cry sent Samuel to his feet, leaving her father's bleeding body on the floor. "Get the fuck out of here." She grabbed her father's luggage and threw them at him, "You are not my father." She cried. "You were never my father, you pig!"
"Whore!" Mr. Blane shouts as he gets up and wipes the blood off his nose, "Just like your mother." He grabbed his luggage and turned back, barely able to walk away from the two of them. "And you." He points at Samuel, "You are a dead man. Both of you!" He vanishes away before Samuel decides to take another leap, and possibly kill him this time around.
"Are you okay?" Samuel takes a seat next to Victoria on the stairs. "I'm sorry you witnessed that." He waits a moment for a reply, but Victoria says nothing. She was staring at the floor, clearly not conscious of her surroundings anymore, "Vic–"
"No more violence!" She buries her forehead onto his chest and cries, "Please Samuel. Just no more violence." He opens his mouth to say something, anything, but keeps quiet, and allows her to let out all the pain buried deep inside.
"No more violence." He places a gentle kiss on her forehead, "I promise." Victoria wiped her tears and stood up, looking down at Samuel who suddenly seemed like a baby in her eyes, "I have a plan." She said, with no emotion on her face, "I have a plan that will definitely work." Samuel takes a cigarette out of his pocket and lights it on fire, "Well," He takes a puff and blows out, "What is it?" Victoria went into the darkest parts of her nocturnal thoughts, looking for a way to finally end all of this, and if it wasn't for her sake, it was for their baby. She gathered up her thoughts and threw all emotion out of the window. She knew that if she wanted this to work she had to sacrifice the one thing that meant the most to her, but she had to — for them. She took a deep breath and finally said, "You."
