Now...

The courtroom was filled with more people than last time. It was set a week after the last one, but Mr. Blane didn't show. The Jury wanted to proclaim him guilty right there and then, saying he ran away when the walls closed down on him, but they later found him drunk on a curb down the street and sent him to rehab.

A couple of weeks later and here we are. Mr. Blane is supposedly sober now, for the first time in a very long time, there is no alcohol in his body, but a brain that hasn't operated in more than 10 years suddenly becomes sober? I don't think so.

"Mr. Blane," The Judge says, "Due to your little disappearance, I have to believe you are guilty, but today is the last day of this trial." He stands up, "So goodluck." When the judge stood up, so did the rest of the courtroom.

It was like a concert here, everyone came to watch the murder of the century. Victoria's body was yet to be found, but the blood, the murder weapon, the DNA on the rocks found at the bottom of the mountain, it all added up that Victoria must be dead. "All rise," The judge slams his gavel, making a loud thud that made Mr. Blane shiver. He wasn't himself, that was clear. The itching, the rash on his body, the constant need to look up and down and all around him. It was like he just spawned into reality, and he wasn't ready to be met with a murder charge as a welcome basket. I do feel bad for Mr. Blane sometimes, sometimes. Because after all, the man was clueless of everything in this world. He was simply a man who hit his wife and kids, and drank alcohol. I guess what I am trying to say is, how on earth did the judge seriously believe he was capable of a murder? And covering it so well?

I must admit, I am a bit disappointed in the jury, but the fact that Mr. Blane being put behind bars for so long means Victoria's plan worked perfectly well.
