23rd May 1998

"I think she's waking up." Someone says from near to me. My head pounds repeatedly and shooting paints frequently vibrate through my arm. Lifting my hand to my head, i open my eyes a crack, to see a dark room, thank Salazar. "Amara can you hear me?" The voice says again but this time closer.

My eyes adjust quick, and Enzo is knealt by my side. I'm laying on the floor, my back hurts. I reach my hand out and Enzo grabs it, pulling me upright. My head spins again and i sit still for a moment to adjust.

"Can you see straight?" Enzo says.

"Barely." I groan, rubbing my eyes. My head swims momentarily. "Are you okay."

"Been better, my leg hurts like a bitch."

Groaning, i force my eyes open to see it's nowhere near as bright as i was expecting. It's dark actually. I pause. "Are we in Ho-"

"Hogwarts." Draco sighs from across the room. He's sat on a chair, pulled back from the desk. He's also moody as fuck, and despite not being injured from what i can see, he doesn't look very well.

From what i can tell, we are in a potions classroom. The layout is extremely similar, the desks arranged in little rectangles to great working spaces in a circle.  Although there are no potions and no ingredients anywhere in sight. There are a few chairs scattered around the room.

"What happened." I lean forward, intending to get up.

"Stay." Enzo stops me, his hands flying to my shoulders. "Sit there. We don't want you passing out again."

Reluctantly, i let him hold me to the floor. "What happened?"

"Well you rushed out to the balcony to save me. Which you did." He pauses. "Thankyou." A small smile flashes across his face.

"But you also got hit by a spell." Theo intercepts. "That's why you collapsed."

I immediately know that's not the truth, but i'm thankful that he covered it up.

"Then they just came out of nowhere. Like 15 of them." Pansy continues. "Both Enzo and Mattheo were injured already and you were unconscious. It was a matter of minutes before they had us."

"Where is Mattheo?" I inquire after scanning the room and noticing he's not there.

No one replies at first, until i squeeze Enzo hand firmly and he jumps. Throwing him an interrogative look, he stumbles over his words.

"Well. He's gone. Not gone. That's definitely not what i meant." The panic is becomes increasingly evident in his voice. "He's out there. With. The Dark Lord."

"He's what?" I try to stand up.

"Amara would you sit down and stay down." Pansy rushes over, sitting beside me and holding my arm still. Her hands clasp over the dark mark and i wince.

"What was that?"

"Just sore still" I cut her off before she can even ask anything. "How long has he been gone?"

"About an hour maybe hour and half." Draco rises, walking across the room to meet our gathering.

"And you've heard nothing?"

"Nothing." Theo scoffs. "We can't hear anything, we can barely even see in here and we can't touch anything either. Everything is warded or rooted to the floor. We might as well be locked in small room with absolutely nothing in it."

I most definitely would not like that.

Somethings shifts behind us, sounding like the clicking of a lock. Everyone hears it at the same time, snapped back into reality.
