"Let's go." Theo grabs my hand, pulling his hood further around his face. We walk in silence to the bus top we came from the other day, our heads down. My legs begin to ache from walking so fast and i begin to get hot, cursing these stupid thick coats. Not a word is spoken between us, a mutual panic bubbling away as we stride towards the stop. The journey seems to take forever, two steps forwards feels like one step back.

Eventually we reach it, the sign reads the next bus in 10 minutes time.

"Fucks sake." I curse under my breath. I look around quickly, searching for an idea. 2 figures catch my eye, talking to a group of friends on the other side of the road.

"Theo walk." I grab his hand again, pulling him away from the stop and heading further down the road. Glancing briefly over my shoulder, i see the two death eaters move away from the group, poster in hand, wands in the other. People begin to scatter around them, hurrying away at the sight of the wands.

Theo turns slightly, catching sight of the death eaters, before quickening his pace and gripping my hand even tighter. I see his other hand drift to his pocket, ready to grab the wand if he needs.

Continuing ahead, i stifle my breathing, trying my hardest to stay calm as i spot another pair round the corner ahead. Struggling to decide what to do, i squeeze Theo's hand, alerting him to their presence.

He takes the lead, pulling me across the road, smoothly, naturally calm like nothings wrong. Slotting in behind a group of people, we walk with our heads down. I spot another bus stop ahead, and train my eyes on it as we get closer and closer.

At first i think it's lucky as the bus pulls into the stop  almost as soon as we get there. I wait for the doors to open, shifting my weight from foot to foot impatiently, struggling harder to keep my breathing calm. I can feel Theo is tense beside me, his grip on my hand is firm and his head is still angled downwards.

Swinging inwards, the doors finally open, and passengers begin to get off. I glance into the window of the bus, staring down the queue of people. It's long and i'm becoming impatient. Leaning to the side to see around the people ahead of me, we are 4th in the queue. I stay looking ahead, until the second person in the queue begins to move.

"Everyone stand to the side." He shouts, ushering all the people from the bus to the side of the pavement. "We need to check you all before you get off." Dolohov's voice is sharp, cutting though the air like a knife.

Shoving into Theo, i pull him again, walking down the path away from the bus stop. Away from Dolohov. Everywhere we turns seems to be a death trap.

"WAIT." Dolohovs voice comes again.

Me and Theo stop. Unable to even breathe, i continue staring ahead. His footsteps are heaving behind us, getting closer and closer with every second. They halt meters behind us.

"Turn around." He instructs.

No one moves.

"I said turn around, you need to be checked."

Another moment of silence.

A hand placed on Theo's shoulder, and Theo spins around, jabbing his wand to Dolohov's neck, muttering a quick "obliviate."

Dolohov stumbles backwards, tripping on his own feet before falling down to the floor.

I hardly have time to react before Theo grabs my arm.

"HEY." Someone shouts from behind us.

"Run." Theo whispers.

We break out into a run, my hood flies down in the wind and the cold breeze hits my face. I can hear people running behind us, i can't tell how many. I don't have much time to listen before curses begin to explode around us. Flashes of colour and explosions hit the ground behind us, and the walls beside the pavement.

"There." I point to the wall on the other side of the road. It borders a forest, and there's a small place where the bricks have collapsed, leaving a ledge to jump over. Theo spots it, and crosses, running in front of a car.

It stops, centimetres away from him, beeping its horn.

We continue nontheless, aiming for the wall as hexes hit all around us. "You'd think for an army they'd have better aim." Theo shouts as we reach the other side of the road.

Theo slows, and i launch myself over the wall, jumping down nearly 2 metres to the forest floor.

"BOMBARDA!" I hear him shout from behind me. There's an explosion, and screams. Then silence. Smoke begins to rise, i can only just see it from this side of the wall, but i can't see over it. I can't see over the wall. It's too high. He should be here by now. He should be here by now.

"THEO" I shout, slightly beginning to panic now.

Silence.

"THE-"

He jumps over the wall, landing with a loud thud beside me. "Go go go." He shouts, grabbing me by the arm again and pulling me into the forest.

I don't even check to see if we are being followed. I just run and run and run. Theo does the same, perhaps at a slower pace so i can keep up. My heart is beating out of my chest and my eyes are stinging in the wind.

Theo throws hexes behind him, not even looking where they are headed, shooting aimlessly, hoping to hit something or someone. Grunts and shouts echo through the the trees, as they call to one another, and hurl hex after hex in our direction.

One hits the ground by my feet, making me stumble momentarily.

One hits the tree by my side, inches from my arm.

CRASH

A tree branch is hit with a curse, it falls and smashes to the floor in front of me. Only just in time, i jump backwards, tripping over my own feet and landing on my back. I feel the air push out of me, leaving me with nothing.

"AMARA GET UP." Theo shouts, trying his hardest to pull me up as i gasp for air, winded. "AMARA PLEASE." He tugs at my arm furiously.

I can't breathe, i gulp like a fish in water, trying to swallow whatever oxygen i can to get my legs working again. My adrenalin begins to slow, each ache and pain in my body is amplified, and it takes all i've got not to be rooted to the floor.

Stumbling to my feet, he ducks as another curse hits the tree behind him. I spot them now. 5, maybe 6 figures, running towards us, some death eaters, some snatchers. The curses don't stop coming, i struggle to go, still gasping for air.

Something comes over me, i don't know what, but i pull my wand from my pockets.

They already know we are here. A spell won't  matter now.

"REDUCTO!" I shout, hurling the curse at the closest two. They fly into the hair, hurling backwards almost out of sight.

My arm screams in pain, blinding me, i feel my knees hit the floor. My head pounds. It feels as though my arm is being ripped apart. Nerve by nerve. Burning ripples through my whole arm, up the snake and through the skull.

"AMARA." Theo pulls me to my feet. "RUN FOR FUCKS SAKE MOVE." He pushes me forward and i just fall again. "WERE YOU HIT? AMARA. FUCK." He lets go of me, facing our attackers.

Beginning to hurl spells back at them, he shouts and ducks as their spells fly over his head.

He begins to look blurry and i start to lose consciousness.
