Being bullied isnt bad enough you have to throw love in too

Chapter 8

Alex's POV

Niall and I are staring out at the beautiful sunset when I hear something behind. I turn around and see the boys singing?

Liam, Louis, Zayn and Harry. Yes and Harry were singing.

I turn to Niall and see him down on one knee. What's going on?

"Alex, I know we've only met each other a few days ago but I have something I want to ask you." He then pulls out a black velvet box. Inside is a gorgeous ring. "Alex, will you be my girlfriend?" Niall asks me with hope in hid eyes. 

I can't believe this. Niall wants ME to be HIS girlfriend. This is unbelievable. This is the best moment of my life.

"Yes Niall! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" I cry and hug him. I know that he'll make me the happiest girl in the world. 

We pull back and he slips the ring onto my finger. It's a simple silver ring with these words inscribed on them. Our love is ever lasting.  When I look over at Niall's hand he has an identical ring on. I smile at him and he smiles that winning smile at me. "I'm hoping some day in the future these..." He gestures towards the rings. "will turn into wedding rings." I smile and hug him. His arms slowly wrap around my waist as mine wrap around his neck as we slowly connect our lips. They move in sync.

This is the best moment of my life... but it's about to come to an end, for now.

*BANG!*

*BANG!*

*BANG!*

The last thing I remember seeing is flashing lights and a whole lot of blood. 

Niall's POV

*BANG!*

*BANG!*

*BANG!*

I look up to see Liam screaming into the phone, Louis crying on Zayn's shoulder and Harry holding a gun. Flashing lights come around the corner as I look down at my Alex who has  a bullet wounds in her left arm and 2 in her right leg. 

I try to stop some of the bleeding with my shirt while we wait for the ambulance to show up.

The cops come and take Harry away as we wait for the paramedics. 

They finally come after 5 more minutes and they load Alex into the ambulance. I climb into the ambulance and sit beside my Alex. My sweet, caring, beautiful Alex. 

I suddenly become enraged. Not at Alex but at Harry. My life was just getting to the good part and Harry had to go and shoot my girlfriend that I've had for a whole 15 minutes.  

One of the paramedics in turns to me. "Hello sir, I'm Paul and you are?" He extends his hand. "Niall, her boyfriend." I gesture to Alex. "Well Niall it looks like she will survive but she will need to be in the hospital for a while. Remember the doctor may tell you something different but you should go by what he says. Alright?" I nod my head and stare down at Alex. 

I hope she's alright. I won't be able to live with myself if she doesn't make it.

Hey guys sorry I haven't updated. I'm not sure if I told you guys before but I'm hoping I will be able to update every weekend at the latest. Sadly though I wasn't able to do that last weekend so I'm updating on this wonderful Monday. I strongly hope you guys can forgive me and my late update and comment, vote and fan.
