You wake up to the sound of an alarm blaring in your ears
Alice: "turn that off Leah"
Silence
Alice: "Leah I said turn it off"
She sits up to see Leah peacefully sleeping, only to realise it's her alarm going off
Leah: "woah are you alright" she asks concerned
Alice: "no my stupid alarm woke me up, I thought it was yours so I was shouting you to turn it off"
Leah: "we need to get up, we're off to St George's park soon"
Alice: "ugh I don't want to get up"
Leah: "come on love, I'll make your favourite breakfast"
Alice: "bacon eggs and hash browns?"
Leah: "bacon eggs and hash browns" she repeats
Alice leaps out of bed and runs downstairs sitting at the table
Leah: "alright eager beaver 2 minutes ago you didn't even want to get up"
Alice: "you mentioned my favourite breakfast so I had to get up"
Leah makes breakfast and they sit at the table and eat it, listening to the bird chirping outside
Leah: "how are you feeling about camp"
Alice: "really excited but also nervous, I don't want to let the team down or make Sarina regret calling me up"
Leah: "you will be absolutely fine I can assure you, all the girls will love you"
Alice: "I hope so"
Leah: "shall we go grab our bags"
Alice: "let's do this"
They grab their kit bags from Leah's room and head out to the car, on the drive Alice can't stop thinking about what her dad said and her nerves begin to rise even more. Leah notices this and places her hand on Alice's thigh
Alice: "how do you always know when I'm nervous and how do you always know how to make me feel better"
Leah: "just call me a genius" they both laugh
Not long later they arrive at SGP and head into reception
Beth: "Aliceeeeeee"
Alice: "hello Meado"
Beth: "how you feeling kid"
Alice: "excited but nervous" I smile at her
Beth: "that's expected but you'll be okay, come meet some of the girls"
Beth takes me over to a group of girls who are laughing extremely loudly
Beth: "girls this is Alice, this is her first call up to England so be nice and welcome her or you'll have me to deal with" she laughs
Rachel: "very scary Meado, hi Alice I'm Rachel" she pulls me in for a hug
Alice: "lovely to meet you Rachel"
Millie: "hey Alice I'm Millie or you could just call me Rachel's bestie" she also hugs me
Alice: "hi Millie nice to meet you"
Beth: "basically these two are known as DalyBrightness, they are a very loud duo if you couldn't already tell"
Alice: "Beth you can be loud when you want as well"
