The talk... x

I get home before Leah so I decide to head upstairs to our room, the sight I'm shown with makes my heart melt. The bed is made with one of my hoodies on the pillow where I'd normally sleep and there's also one of my teddies sat there too. I really love this girl, I can't lose her, I'd forever be broken. I head back downstairs to make a quick snack when the door opens, Leah's back.

Leah: "hiya"

Alice: "hi, you okay"

Leah: "yeah just nervous about this talk"

Don't say that Leah now I'm scared, not that I wasn't before but now I'm even more scared

Alice: "come on, let's get it over and done with"

Leah: "I guess I'll go first"

Alice: "take your time, I'm listening"

Leah: "right okay so basically a couple of weeks ago I heard some people talking about you leaving Arsenal and it scared me. It scared me because you're my person Al, I couldn't bare the thought of you going somewhere else. So stupidly I decided to distance myself from you rather than speak to you about it because I thought that if I spoke to you about it then I'd have to face it and reality would hit me that you were leaving. So that's the reason I've been so distant and off with you these past weeks because I just don't want to lose you, but if you need to go then you need to go. I can't hold you back and quite frankly I won't hold you back, you should do what's best for your career" I notice tears building in her eyes so I just pull her into a hug and for the first time in weeks she reciprocates it 

Alice: "Leah look at me" she lifts her head up and I take her hands in mine 

Alice: "I'm not going anywhere, well as far as I'm aware anyway. Jonas hasn't mentioned anything to me so I'm pretty sure I'm staying" 

Leah: "wait so you're not leaving us" 

Alice: "no I'm not leaving, I don't have any plans on leaving anytime soon" 

Leah: "I'm such an idiot" 

Alice: "yeah you kind of are" I laugh 

Leah: "ay you were meant to disagree" she nudges me 

Alice: "well you can be an idiot at times, but you're my idiot" I smile 

Leah: "I'm happy with that" she smiles back 

Alice: "but you have to promise me something" 

Leah: "anything" 

Alice: "that if for any reason you ever hear something like this again or you're just feeling down, you come and speak to me and not distance yourself. If we're going to move forward in this relationship we need to be able to speak with one another and not running off from our problems" 

Leah: "I promise" she locks her pinky with mine 

Alice: "okay good, movie marathon time?" 

Leah: "I'm always up for a movie marathon"

Alice: "I know you are" I smirk 

We end the day with watching so many movies and enjoying being in one another's company again, it feels like forever since we've been like this. I knew I wouldn't lose Leah and I think deep down she knew she wouldn't lose me either, we mean too much to one another to just let go like that. 

The following morning: 

Leah: "rise and shine my cutie pie" 

Alice: "you just gave me the ick Le" 

Leah: "wow I was trying to be cute and it just gets thrown back in my face" 

Alice: "oh shush you know I love you" 

Leah: "and you know I love you too but come on we need to get up and head to training"

Alice: "oh for god sake"

I get up and we eat breakfast and then head to training 

Beth: "ALICE" she shouts 

Alice: "you just burst my ear drums but hello Beffy" I laugh 

Beth: "have you and Leah made up now?" 

Alice: "yeah I think so, we talked last night so I'm pretty sure we're all good" 

Beth: "yay my faves are back" 

We then head out to the pitch and complete outside training and then we spend an hour in the gym, our next game is against Reading in two days time 

Katie: "wooo go on Alice, your arm muscles are huge" she says as I lift the weight 

Alice: "well thank you Katie" I laugh 

Leah: "you best not be hitting on my girlfriend McCabe" 

Katie: "I'd never do such a thing" she then runs off after smirking 

Leah: "you're looking too good right now" she says standing there watching me 

Alice: "well you wouldn't even notice if you weren't stood there watching me" I laugh 

Leah: "alright smart arse I'm off to go see Lia" 

Alice: "have fun" 

Our gym session comes to an end after an hour and I decide to go and speak with Jonas, I want to know if what Leah heard was true but I'd just not been told about it, I knock on his office door

Jonas: "come in" he looks up from his computer and smiles at me 

Jonas: "oh hi Alice, come in take a seat, is something wrong" 

Alice: "I just wanted to ask do you have any plans of getting rid of me" 

Jonas: "umm what, no why" 

Alice: "it's just Leah heard some media people or something talking about me leaving so I just wanted to talk to you" 

Jonas: "I have no plans of letting you go but I won't lie to you we have had some offers come in for you recently" 

Alice: "oh really? am I allowed to hear them" 

Jonas: "of course, you can take a look yourself" 

He turns his computer screen and I'm met with a bunch of different clubs after me such as: Tottenham, United, West Ham but I weren't really interested in any of them, until I saw one. Barcelona. Barcelona really wanted me? This really took me aback and I just stared at the screen for a while, I think I sort of zoned out 

Jonas: "Alice, are you okay" 

Alice: "yeah sorry kind of just shocked, it's not everyday you find out Barcelona want you" 

Jonas: "are you interested?" his tone of voice seemed quite sad 

Alice: "how long is the deal for?" 

Jonas: "it's a one year loan with the option to extend if you would like" 

Alice: "right, is it okay if I have a think about this?" 

Jonas: "of course, there isn't a massive rush however the transfer window does close in two weeks" 

Alice: "no worries, I'll have an answer for you by then, bye boss" I stand up to leave the room 

Jonas: "bye Alice" 

I run into the changing room to grab my belongings, multiple girls try and speak to me but I'm just in shock and I'm scared so I don't reply, I just get my things and run out to my car then drive home
