Leah steps out of the taxi first and holds the door open for me 

Alice: "such a gentleman, thank you"

Leah: "no worries darling, you ready to go in"

Darling? Did she just call me darling oh my days, my heart is going 100 mph. Alice come on collect yourself and answer her damn question 

Alice: "yep I'm ready"

We walk to Katie's door and knock but it's not long before the feisty Irish girl herself is there, welcoming us in 

Katie: "welcome in ladies, you're the first to arrive, what drink can I get you"

Alice: "I'll just have a coke please"

Katie: "you not drinking Alice"

Leah: "don't push her Katie"

Katie: "I'm not I was just saying, what can I get you Leah"

Leah: "I'll have a vodka and coke please"

I've just been sat in silence since Katie pretty much had a dig at me, I can understand to a certain extent but also what is the big deal with drinking. I'm thankful Leah stuck up for me but also confused, she didn't need to do that, why did she do that? 

Leah: "are you okay" she whispers in my ear and once again I jump, it's like a reflex that I can't seem to shift 

Alice: "yeah I'm fine" then there's a knock at the door 

Katie: "I'll get it"

I hear a bundle of laughter from the door to see the remaining teammates all barging in and heading for the drinks 

Beth: "let's get this party started then"

Frida: "woooo"

Beth puts on some random playlist and we're all dancing along to it, including myself but keeping my distance whilst some are dancing with each other. Beth and Leah are doing some kind of weird knock off ballroom dance 

Beth: "pssstt" 

Leah: "yeah" she whispers 

Beth: "what's wrong with Alice"

Leah: "no idea, I asked if she was okay and she said yeah"

Beth: "she seems quite distant, also have you noticed she won't hug anyone or even get too close to them"

Leah: "yeah I have noticed that, maybe she just doesn't like physical contact, not everyone loves being stuck to someone Meado"

Beth: "I guess so, oops Katie is going over to her"

Leah: "shit"

Katie: "Aliceeeee" she slurs 

Alice: "what's up McCabe"

Katie: "why don't you come get a drink with me"

Alice: "fine, if it will shut you up"

Alice and Katie head over to the kitchen, Alice grabs a drink and downs it within seconds 

Katie: "woah there eager beaver"

Alice: "well the rest of you seem to be a few drinks up so I may as well catch up"

Katie: "go on Alice" she says as Alice necks another drink 

Jen: "Why don't we play a game"

Frida: "oh god"

Lia: "what game"

Caitlin: "truth or dare sounds good"

Beth: "I'm in"
