Game day x

I wake up but can't feel Leah next to me, a sense of panic seems to run over me till I hear the sound of the shower, then a feeling of happiness runs over me knowing she hasn't left 

Leah: "good morning" she smiles stepping out of the bathroom 

Alice: "good morning" I smile back 

Leah: "how you feeling today" 

Alice: "pretty good how are you" 

Leah: "yeah I'm feeling quite good" 

She gets dressed then we head down to breakfast 

Millie: "Aliceeeeee" she shouts 

Alice: "what can I do for you Mills"

Rachel: "can you do a tiktok with us please" she pleads 

Alice: "I look so rough are you kidding"

Millie: "you look fine come on" she grabs my arm and drags me into another room 

We start doing the tiktok but it takes multiple takes because one of us keeps messing up 

Millie: "phew we did it, I was about to bang both your heads together" 

Alice: "I'm recovering from concussion already Mills I don't want another one thanks" 

Millie: "oh yeah, how are you feeling"

Alice: "I'm alright thank you" 

We head back out to the dining room to grab breakfast 

Leah: "where have you been" 

Alice: "I was doing a tiktok with Rach and Mills"

Leah: "Al you're meant to be resting"

Alice: "I'm okay Le" she smiles at me 

I go grab some breakfast and sit on the same table as Leah with Beth, Keira and Lucy 

Alice: "how are you feeling about the game girls"

Lucy: "confident, I think we can do this"

Beth: "like go the whole way?"

Keira: "there's nothing wrong with believing I guess" 

Alice: "what about you cap" I turn to Leah 

Leah: "yeah I think it will be a very good game"

We carry on chatting about a few things and eat our breakfast till we head back to our rooms for some chill time before we travel to the game, the coach journey is around 2 hours and with kick off being at 8 we need to leave at 6:30 the latest 

Alice: "I'm just going to speak to Beth one second"

Leah: "don't be long I want cuddles"

Alice: "yes boss" I laugh before leaving the room and heading over to Beth's 

Beth: "you alright Alice" 

Alice: "yeah can I just come in a second"

Beth: "course" she steps aside so I can walk in 

Alice: "okay so I need your help on this surprise I have" 

Beth: "I'm all ears" 

Alice: "okay so Leah is so adamant that I need to rest, but I can't miss coming to watch you guys play this game, so I'm going to pretend I don't feel well so then Leah will finally stop telling me I need to rest, I'll go to my room when you guys are leaving but I'm going to get a taxi to the game" I smile
