Should I leave... x

I pulled onto the drive and quickly ran out of the car into the house and into my little music room. I've probably not mentioned this before but I enjoy playing the guitar and piano, only Leah knows about this though. I just sat on my chair playing the piano until I hear the door of the room open, I don't even look who it is I just carry on playing till I feel a pair of arms around my shoulders.

Leah: "Al"

Alice: "yeah"

Leah: "what's happened love"

Alice: "I don't think you'll understand, I need to go speak to someone else" I stand up

Leah: "where will you be going"

Alice: "just to get someone's opinion on something, I'll be back soon"

Leah: "okay, stay safe please, I love you" she hugs me

Alice: "I will do, I love you" I grab my car keys from the kitchen side and head out to the car

I sit in the car for around 10 minutes because I can feel tears building in my eyes, I take some deep breaths and then head over to Amanda's house, yes Leah's mum. It might sound weird I'm going to speak to her but she gives good advice and I know she'll speak the truth. I get out of the car after some deep breaths and knock on the front door.

Amanda: "Alice, lovely to see you, are you with Leah?"

Alice: "no umm I'm actually alone, I came to speak to you about something if that's okay"

Amanda: "of course, come on through"

She takes me through to the living room and I take a seat on the sofa

Amanda: "would you like a cup of tea or a coffee?"

Alice: "could I just have a glass of water please"

Amanda: "course you can lovely"

She brings my glass of water over and then sits on the sofa next to me

Amanda: "I'm all ears, talk about anything you'd like darling"

Alice: "okay so earlier on today after training I found out that a couple of clubs had put in offers for me, I wasn't interested in any of them until I saw the last one, it's Barcelona"

Amanda: "okay and how do you feel about it"

Alice: "I'm not sure that's why I came to speak to you, there's a part of me that wants to stay here because I love Arsenal so much and of course I have Leah, the love of my life, but the other part of me is saying go and have a fresh start"

Amanda: "right I have a question for you, have you achieved everything you wanted to at Arsenal?"

Alice: "well no because I want to win the league with them and we have the final of the Conti Cup coming up soon against Chelsea that I want to win"

Amanda: "well then darling, doesn't that answer your question, you haven't yet achieved all that you want at Arsenal and if you go now you won't get to win those specific trophies playing for Barcelona"

Alice: "you're right, I need to stay, that group of girls are literally my family, I can't leave them"

Amanda: "have you spoken to Leah about this?"

Alice: "not yet, you're the first person to know apart from Jonas of course"

Amanda: "if you want my truthful advice, I think you need to go and speak to Leah about this but make sure she knows that although you did consider going, that you're staying"

Alice: "thank you Amanda, I appreciate you so much"

Amanda: "I'm here anytime you need a chat" she pulls me into a hug and then I leave to drive home and tell Leah about this

Alice: "Leah" I shout into the house but there's silence

Alice: "Leah where are you" I shout again

Leah: "I'm in the shower"

Alice: "okay no worries"

I see there's some food in the microwave which I assume is mine so I heat it up and take a seat at the table to eat it, Leah then comes down

Leah: "everything okay"

Alice: "well I do need to speak to you but it's not that bad"

Leah: "right, that makes me worried"

Alice: "nothing to worry about I promise"

Leah: "okay" her tone is confused

I finish eating the food then take her hand and lead us to the sofa

Leah: "I'm scared Al what is it"

Alice: "right so you know how you heard people talking about me leaving"

Leah: "you're leaving aren't you" she stands up

Alice: "no I'm not, please sit down"

Leah: "okay carry on"

Alice: "so after training I went to speak to Jonas about it, he said he had some offers come in for me so I asked to look at them"

Leah: "we're they any good"

Alice: "well no I didn't think at first"

Leah: "at first? So you're interested in moving" I can see tears in her eyes so I take her hand in mine

Alice: "I was debating it because the club is incredible, but a special someone helped me realise that just because a club is incredible, it doesn't mean I can leave my home behind"

Leah: "what club was it"

Alice: "Barcelona"

Leah: "what? You've always wanted to go there, we've had this conversation before"

Alice: "yeah but there's always another time, I can't leave this group of girls behind, you're the love of my life Leah I can't leave you"

Leah: "Al playing for Barcelona is your dream, we've spoke about this for hours on end, are you sure you're not wanting to go" 

Alice: "this sounds like you want me to go" 

Leah: "of course I don't want you to go, you're my person and you leaving would hurt but you can't hold yourself back from chasing your dreams because of me" 

Alice: "Le you aren't holding me back from anything, I promise this is the decision I want to make, I don't want to leave this group of girls" 

Leah: "only if you're sure Al, I just want what's best for you" 

Alice: "I'm more than sure Le" 

We cuddle on the sofa and watch a movie before going to bed, it's game day tomorrow so we need to be up early, well we have to wake up at 8 am but that's early to me
