Rest and Train x

I'm not so politely woken up to the sound of rustling at 9 am, I open my eyes to see Leah sat on the floor with the contents of her bag scattered around the room 

Alice: "what's up Le" I croak 

Leah: "I can't find my god damn shin pads" she says frustrated 

Alice: "I have a spare pair in the pocket of my bag"

Leah: "I'm always losing the stupid things, thank you love" she kisses my cheek 

Alice: "have I missed breakfast"

Leah: "no it's still open for another 20 minutes, I'll come down with you"

We walk into the dining room and all eyes are on me 

Alice: "have I got something on my face" I laugh

Millie: "no we're just glad you're okay"

Ella: "you shit me up Al"

Alice: "I'm sorry girls, I'm very much alive see" I spin round 

Sarina: "good morning girls, training will be 2 hours long today starting at 10 and then we will just be doing some gym work, Alice could I have a word with you please" she smiles 

Alice: "can I grab some food and bring it with me"

Sarina: "yeah course"

I grab some food then head into Sarina's office 

Sarina: "you're not in trouble don't worry I just wanted to see how you were, medical told me what happened"

Alice: "yeah I'm feeling good thank you, bit of a headache but all okay"

Sarina: "that's good, so just as a precaution you will miss the game tomorrow against Norway  but as long as you continue to feel alright then you will be back for the Northern Ireland game" 

Alice: "that's great thank you"

Sarina: "no worries if you ever need someone to talk to then you know where I am Alice, I'll let you get back to the girls now" she smiles 

Alice: "thank you Sarina" I smile back then leave her room 

Rachel: "everything alright Alice" 

Alice: "yeah she was just checking on me, I'm missing tomorrow's game as precaution but should be back for the Northern Ireland game"

Beth: "already can't wait to have you back" I laugh at her 

The girls then head off to their training session not long after, I have a little light training session and then head inside and up to my room to chill out. I'm getting pretty bored so I decide to get Leah's sudoku book out and complete some, time passes and I realise I've completed about 10. 

Alice: "shit she's going to kill me" I say to myself then my phone rings

Ella: "hiya Al, some of us are heading out for a walk would you like to come"

Alice: "yeah I'll come now"

Ella: "we're just in reception"

Alice: "okay I'll be there in a moment"

I leave Leah's sudoku book on the bed and head down to reception 

Leah: "here she is" she says smiling at me 

Alice: "missed me that much" I smirk 

Leah: "maybe I have" she smirks back 

Lucy: "right enough flirting come on"
