Game day x

I wake up to the sound of someone knocking on my door I check my phone and it's 10:45 am, I look next to me but Leah isn't there so I hop out of bed and go open the door 

Alice: "Leah what on earth are you doing" 

Leah: "I went to go grab us breakfast and I may or may not have forgotten my key card"

Alice: "oh my days Leah"

We go and sit at the small table in our room and eat breakfast 

Alice: "what are we doing today"

Leah: "it's game day Al"

Alice: "well yeah I know that but the game isn't till 5 so what are we doing until then"

Leah: "Sarina has arranged a team meeting at 12 and then we just chill till we get on the coach at 3"

Alice: "does that mean I could get a nap after the team meeting" I smirk 

Leah: "I actually think there's something wrong with you, you're always tired"

Alice: "the life of a busy footballer I guess, always tired"

Leah: "no Al I'm being serious, it could be some iron deficiency or something"

Alice: "I don't know Le"

Leah: "will you make a deal to go get checked after this tournament"

Alice: "okay deal"

We finish our breakfast before getting changed and heading to the team meeting

Sarina: "good afternoon girls, I just want to start by saying I'm very proud of you all for the way we've started this camp. You all seem to have settled in well with each other which I like to see and I'm quite excited to see where we can go this tournament. I've gathered together some points to talk about regarding Austria's tac tics that we need to be aware of and then you're free to chill out, we will then meet outside for 3 to head onto the coach and travel to the game"

Sarina talks to us about Austria's tac tics and how we can break them down to ensure we get our first win of the tournament and then dismisses us 

Ella: "Alice you up for a game of table tennis with me and Less in the relaxation room"

Alice: "yeah sure, you coming" I say looking at Leah 

Leah: "yeah I'll come"

All 4 of us head into the relaxation room and head over to the games area 

Alice: "are we doing a 1v1 or a 2v2"

Alessia: "let's do a 2v2 Alice you're on my team"

Ella: "wow my own best friend just ditched me" she laughs 

Alice: "soz Tooney stole your bestie" we all laugh 

We start the game and of course me and Alessia are winning 

Ella: "no I'm not having this you guys are cheating"

Alice: "how are we cheating"

Ella: "Alessia just wanted to be on your team because you're good at this and she knows you will win, that's not fair"

Alessia: "alright stroppy pants, let's swap teams" 

Me and Leah switch places and we carry on the game, now me and Ella are winning 

Leah: "Lessi you're awful at this, you and Alice we're only winning because Alice is good at this"

Alessia: "wow I'm really being thrown under the bus here aren't I"
