HOCKEY PRACTICE WENT by smoothly. Although Rieun and I both hated Seorin, she was an agile player, educated on the game and a strong captain.
"Good job today girls," said Coach Seo, while we all drank hungrily from our water bottles. "We have our first game against KimNamJoon High School next Friday. Seorin will get you guys before then and give you all a game plan! See you next week!"
Coach Seo dismissed us, and we all went into the changing rooms. "Good work today" came Seorin's sweet voice, and the girls all repeated it around.
The girls showers were clean and tidy, and rather exclusive too, with white marble and posh shampoos and soaps. I took a brief shower, allowing myself to soak up all the water, and scrubbing my soft skin with a loofa. I quickly dried of, before getting myself into my undergarments. Earlier in the morning, I had packed my clothes and my stuff for the project later on.
I decided to wear a short-sleeve black top that hung just below my belly button, and a small black mini-skirt that hung loosely off my hips and half way down my thighs. I carefully braided my hair into a small plat, before applying some moisturiser and sunscreen. Not to mention my classic pink lipgloss.
I stuffed my uniform and sports gear back into my bag before exiting the stall. Seorin took one look at me an scoffed. "Your wearing all that just to impress Jungwon?"
Now it was my turn to scoff. "This is called fashion" I said with a overly sweet smile. "I would never dress like this for a man."
Seorin rolled her eyes. "Please, we all know how badly you want him."
I smiled even more. "I dress for myself, not for a stupid man. Screw you," I said, pointing the middle finger at her before exiting the changing rooms.
I quickly saw Jungwon who was waiting near the lockers, on his phone. When he saw me, he smirked and looked me up and down. "We'll take my car instead of that musty bus today" he said, and I grinned.
When we got to his house, his parents weren't home, something I was secretly thankful for. They looked quite intimidating from the pictures.
"Let's go upstairs" he said, once I had taken off my shoes and I nodded. I took my usual seat at the desk while he just hovered near the doorway. "I'll go get some food and water, be right back!" he said, going out of sight.
I took out the notes and books from my bag and placed them in an orderly fashion. He returned moments later with a bowl of freshly strawberries and two bottles of water. I thanked him. He was dressed in a black t-shirt and baggy grey sweats. I assumed he had come home and changed before coming to pick me up.
"Let's make a small script for our presentation first!" I said, and he nodded. He was quite close to me, and I could feel his gaze on mine as I flipped through the pages. "I have all the notes here," I handed him a piece of paper.
"Wow," he said, flipping the paper to the other side. "You've done a lot of work," he said, looking me in the eyes. I averted his gaze, looking down at my fingers in my lap. "Let's get the script done."
We managed to get it done in an hour. There wasn't much to do, seeing as I had already started it the night before. "Finally!" I exhaled, before eating a few strawberries. "You've done so much" Jungwon said, leaning back in his chair, sitting in a manspread position. I bit my bottom lip, not accustomed to these sudden compliments.
Suddenly, his phone dinged, and upon seeing the message, he looked kinda sad. "My parents aren't coming home today," he said, a bit dismayed. "Their flight got delayed."
I pouted sadly. "Are you close to them?" I asked. He shook his head. "Their famous actors so their quite busy. I never really got the chance to get close to them, but I miss them."
"Aren't you famous then as well?" I asked, biting down on my bottom lip. He shook his head again. "My parents don't really share my pictures online. I have enough stardom as school anyways," he said and I chuckled.
"It's true," I said, also leaning back on my chair. "Literally all the girls in our year are always talking about you. Even some of the freshman students find you attractive."
He turned to me, the proximity between us getting closer and closer. "What about you?" he asked, and I was confused. "Hmm?"
He diverted his gaze momentarily to my lips before looking me back in the eyes. "Do guys find you attractive?" he asked, with a playful smirk playing on his lips. I looked away, putting on an expression of deep thought.
"Yeah, you could say that," I said confidently, looking back at him. It was now that I realised how good looking he was. Every single feature on his face, from his soft pink lips to the dimples in his cheeks were so handsome.
"Should we go take down these dishes?" I asked, standing up, attempting to ease the tension that had filled the room. He nodded, picking up the plate while I picked up the glasses, our feet making little to no sound against the stairs.
"Well, so many guys in our year have already started talking about you, and it hasn't even been two weeks yet" he smirked, as we walked back up the stairs. A slight blush crept up to my cheeks.
"I wonder why" I said, trying my best to sound humble. He shut the door behind us, causing me to look towards his direction.
"But do you know what I tell them," he mumbled seductively. He placed his hands on my bare waist, and it felt like there was electricity in every single vein in my body. My breathing began to get quicker as I stared into those black orbs that were looking hungrily at my lips. "I tell them that you like me the most."
And with that, he connected his lips with mine.
