ON SUNDAY MORNING, I woke up happy.

Usually, on Sunday mornings, I would wake up early and sprint to the cafe, to get a glimpse of Coffee Boy. But since I hadn't found my "Coffee Boy" of Sangang, I just lazed around at home.

After breakfast and lunch, I plopped down in my bed, staring at the tiny cracks in the ceiling. There was nothing to do. My room was clean and tidy. I had already eaten so there was no need to cook. I had finished all my homework. And Sunday was a no work day for me as well.

I was looking for something, anything, to cure my boredom. And that cure came in the form of Yeji.

"Haejin!"

I stood up, running to my window where I could hear the loud yells coming from. Through the window opposite me, I could see Riki and Yeji waving violently at me. "Haejin, come hang out with us!"

I smiled, opening my window and yelling back "I'm going to get changed! I'll be there soon!" I dashed back to my closet, slipping out of my pyjamas and throwing on a white t-shirt and a pair of grey track pants. I slapped some moisturiser on my face and ran outside.

After a couple of knocks, Ms Hwang opened the door and engulfed me into a tight hug almost instantly. "Haejin! How are you, my love?" she asked. "I'm good Ms Hwang!" I replied, breaking off the hug and slipping out off my shoes. "You go upstairs, I'll call you kids down when dinner is ready!"

I nodded my head and ran up the stairs, entering Riki's room silently. Before I could even breathe, I felt Yeji engulf me in a tight hug. "Yeji," I managed to choke out. "Sorry, Jinz" she said, patting my back as she broke the hug. "I haven't seen you in forever though!"

I laughed it off, plopping myself on a bean bag. "Hi Haejin!" waved Riki, coming inside the room with three cartons of drink. "Hey Riki," I cheerfully replied. He tossed one to me and I caught it, examining it carefully.

"Strawberry," I said with a smirk. "You got good taste in food, Riki." He grinned. "Strawberry is the supreme flavour" he said confidently, sitting down on his bed. I nodded.

Yeji, however, looked like she was about to retch. "Eww no, strawberry clearly is the most suckiest flavour out of them all." Riki stuck his tongue out mockingly at her. "Put that tongue back before I cut it off" Yeji ordered, her brother just rolling his eyes.
