Chapter Sixteen

The Raft....

"Lights out!" Yelled one of the guards as he banged one the inmates' cell door. All of a sudden alarms started ringing. Red lights began to flash. "Security Breach!" Yelled by the guards. Outside the Radt you could hear gunshots being fired. The Green Goblin and Otto were outside leaving a trail of destruction behind. Suddenly a ball of some sort rolled into the room. One guard got closer to get a better look. As he looked down at it he saw that it was ticking. "Get Down."It was a bomb! As soon as the guard yelled the bomb went off knocking the guards back and killing some. In came the Green Goblin and Otto looking for someone. They walked past a few cells. Until they got to two specific ones. Kraven the Hunter and Electro. Kraven had a thirst for blood, ready to be unleashed upon the city once again. Electro, a master at electricity, was ready to unleash his powers on his victims. "Doc?" Asked Electro as he looked at Otto through the cell. Otto smiled. "Yes boy it's me. Now stand back." Otto used his tentacles to tear through the cell door and Electro walked out freely. Kraven looked at Otto. "What about me?" Otto smiled. "Don't you worry Kraven." Otto then tore off the cell doors of Kraven's cell. "Finally." Said Kraven. The Green Goblin then tossed Kraven his weapons. Otto gave Electro a new suit. The Raft became a blood geeked battle ground as the four villains took on the remaining guards. Laughter filled through the halls. The Green Goblin threw another bomb at the wall and the four villains left the Raft.

Spider-Man was still on the outside. Spider-Man saw the second explosion. He landed on a rooftop nearby. He had to think of something quick. He shot a web at one side of the rooftop and shot another one at the other side. He leaned back and slinging shot his way to the Raft. As gliding through the air he saw the four villains leaving the Raft. Spider-Man started swinging after them. He then looked down at the Raft and saw what the villains had done. He turned around and landed in the Raft. He saw the bloody mess that the villains made. He saw the dead guards laying on the floor. Some guards were struggling to get on their feet. It helped them up. "What happened here?" Spider-Man asked. The guard brushed himself off and looked at Spider-Man. "This was the work of the Green Goblin." He said in fear. Spider-Man clenched his fist. Then Spider-Man looked around to see if he could see anyone that needed help. Spider-Man was about to leave when he saw Kingpin sitting on his bed in his cell. Spider-Man walked over to the cell door and ripped it off its hinges. He picked up Kingpin and tossed him out of the cell. "Where is he? Where is the Green Goblin!" Asked Spider-Man angrily. Kingpin looked up at Spider-Man. "I have no idea and if I did, why would I tell you?" They made Spider-Man angry. He lifted Kingpin up off the ground by the collar of his shirt and carried him to some exposed rebar. He held him over the rebar. "Spider-Man!" Yelled the guard. Spider-Man looked at the guard and back at Kingpin. He said nothing as he threw Kingpin across the room then left.
