Chapter Twenty Four

Somewhere in the city Peter was having a great time since he got rid of the symbiote. He felt like a whole new man! "I should go back and apologize to everyone." He thought as he walked into Aunt May's house. But before he could say anything everyone was gathered in the living room and Eddie's video was playing on the news. Spider-Man rushed back to the church where Eddie was and the symbiote. "How?" Wondered Peter. "I thought I had all of it." He thought to himself.

At the church...

"We want revenge on him as well but not until we have all of us?" Said the symbiote. "All of us?" Asked Eddie confused. "Yes, all of us. Spider-Man took the rest of us with him in a container. We need it to be stronger." Said the symbiote. Eddie understood and left the area. Spider-Man arrived at the church. As he got there he was confused. "Where did he go?" He asked himself as he looked around. Spider-Man left the church and headed to Curt Connors lab.

At Connors lab...

The lab was clean looking new from the fire a while back. Spider-Man swung to the lab and knocked on the door. Connors saw that it was Spider-Man and let him in. "Spider-Man? What are you doing here?" Connors asked. "There's something I have to give you." Said Spider-Man as he handed Connors the container. Connors was confused. "Is that the symbiote?" Spider-Man nodded his head. "How did you end up with it?" Asked Connors. "I don't know. I guess it got attached to me while I was saving you and Eddie from the fire." Connors was interested. "Interesting. I am confused about one thing." Spider-Man looked up from the container and looked up at Connors. "What's that?" Asked Spider-Man. "You're telling me that you had the symbiote for at least a month and you now give it back?" Connors asked. After Connors asked, Eddie broke into the lab. Before anyone could say or do anything the symbiote formed over Eddie. Turning into this beast of a thing. "There it is." Said the symbiote with a grin on its face. The symbiotes are stretched towards the container. Knocking Spider-Man and Connor out of the way. The container broke and the rest of the symbiote merged with the rest of itself. Eddie could feel the power. He could feel himself getting stronger. "I can get used to this." Said Eddie. The fear in Connors' eyes filled the room. "Who are you?" The symbiote walked over to Connors. The symbiote deformed part of its face to show Eddie's face. "We are Venom!" Venom formed his face then took off. Spider-Man finally got up off the ground. "What was that?" Spider-Man asked. Connors looked at Peter in fear. "He called himself Venom." Spider-Man helped Connors off the ground. "Venom?" Asked Spider-Man. "That's what he said. You have to stop him." Spider-Man nodded his head then took off after Venom.
