Chapter Ten

Connors lab...

Peter and Eddie made it to Curt Connors lab. Peter knocked on the door. "No more interviews." Said Connors as he was locking the door. "Come on Dr. Connors. Please." Said Peter with a smile. Connors looked up at Peter and Eddie. Connors looked at both of them. He was hesitant but he let them in. "Alright come in." Connors walked them over to the table where the black goo was. Peter and Eddie began taking photos. Peter was curious. "Did you ever find out what it was?" Asked Peter. Connors looked around first before he answered. "Yes. It's alive and it's a symbiote of some sort." Peter and Eddie couldn't believe what they heard. "It's. Alive?!" Asked Peter. "Yes." Said Connors. Peter took some more photos. Peter's head began to hurt. Then a few criminals came bursting through the windows! They were looking for the symbiote. "Where is it?" They yelled at Connors. Peter couldn't do anything this time. He couldn't change into Spider-Man. He was stuck. "Where is what?" asked Connors. The criminal got angry and shoved Connors out of the way and into Peter and Eddie. They crashed through the table and the symbiote was free from the container that it was in. "There it is!" Yelled one of the criminals as they tried to get it. The criminals were so reckless that they caused a fire. They didn't know what to do. They didn't focus on the symbiote. They were trying to get out of there. While the chaos was happening the symbiote slipped its way into Peter's bag. The criminal's struggled to get to the door. Peter saw an opening. He quickly changed into Spider-Man. The criminal last made it to the door just in time to run into Spider-Man. Spider-Man quickly got into action as he took down the criminals and webbed them up a safe distance from the fire. Spider-Man leaped back into the building. "Spider-Man!" Said Eddie to himself as he thought this was the time to get Spider-Man's photo. Before Eddie could take the photo Spider-Man grabbed Curt Connors and Eddie and swung them both to safety. Eddie was concerned. "Where's Peter?" Spider-Man looked at Eddie. "He's safe. You two need to go and get somewhere safe also." Spider-Man took off. Eddie and Connors. Looked up as Spider-Man flew off. After Spider-Man was hard to see Peter came up from behind them. "Hey guys." Eddie and Connors looked behind and were happy and confused to see Peter. "You're alright!" Said Eddie with a smile. "Where were you?" Asked Connors as he scratched his head. "Spider-Man saved me and took me to the other side of the building." Eddie and Connors looked at each other and back at Peter. "Oh Okay." Said Connors. They then waited for the fire department to get there.
