Chapter Twenty Six

Spider-Man quickly rushed over to Gwen's house. He quickly changed into normal clothes. Peter knocked on the door. Gwen opened the door. "Hey Peter." Said Gwen softly. "I'm sorry Gwen. I've been terrible to you." Gwen looked up at Peter. "Go on." Peter took a deep breath. "I've been a terrible boyfriend to you. I should've listened to you and the others. I know that now." Gwen started to smile a little. "Keep going." Peter got closer to Gwen. "I need you Gwen. I can't do this without you. I love you Gwen!" Cried Peter. "I love you too Pete. I knew that the real you would come out and get rid of that symbiote." Said Gwen as she gave him a kiss and hug. While high Peter she looked up at him. "Did you apologize to the others?" Peter looked down at Gwen. "I apologized to Harry and I'm about to go home and apologize to Victoria." Gwen smiled. "Good." Peter let Gwen go and "I have to apologize to Victoria." Said Peter as we walked backwards down the steps. Gwen smiled. "Okay. Go!" Peter smiled back at Gwen. "After this I owe you a cozy movie night!" Yelled Peter as he began to run home. Gwen smiled and waved to Peter. "Sounds like a date!" Yelled Gwen.

Peter made it home. He rushed inside. He saw Aunt May on the couch. Peter walked over to her and gave her a hug. "I'm sorry Aunt May." Aunt May looked confused. "For what?" She asked. "For not being here for you or for not even being here when you got out of the hospital. I feel bad." Aunt May looked at Peter. "Don't be sorry. Don't beat yourself up. It's not your fault." Peter had a little smile. "Thanks Aunt May." Said Peter. Aunt May smiled. "Anytime. Peter." Peter then looked around the room. "Where's Tori?" Asked Peter. "She left a few minutes ago. She said she was going to take the bus to her friend's house." Peter looked down almost as he was depressed. "Oh". Aunt May got off the couch and placed her hand on Peter's shoulder. "I know you two haven't seen eye to eye lately but everything will be alright. If you go right now you will make it to her." Peter looked up at Aunt May. "Thanks again." Aunt May smiled and nodded her head. "You're Welcome Peter. No go. Go talk to Victoria. Peter left the house and headed to the bus stop.
