Adrian made it to his apartment. He laid Liz on the couch. "What happened? So this?" He asked. Liz turned her head slowly. She coughed "Goblin." As she said that name it made Adrian furious. He was done working with the Green Goblin. Adrian looked at his daughter and placed his hand on her hand. She looked up to him and smiled as she had gotten to see her dad once again. Then she was gone. Adrian looked up at the ceiling and yelled. "Goblin!" Adrian left his apartment and flew out to find the Green Goblin.
Days Later....
It's that day of Gwen's funeral. Everyone was there. Harry, Victoria and even Aunt May. Everyone said a few words. Peter tried to say something but he couldn't. He was too heartbroken that no words could come out of his mouth. Captain Stacy and his wife walked up to Peter. Captain Stacy placed his hand on Peter's shoulder. "She meant the world to us. I know she meant the world to you. She will be missed dearly." Gwen's mom gave Peter a hug. They left. Peter tried to hold back his tears but he just couldn't. Victoria walked over to Peter for a hug. Aunt May and Harry walked behind Victoria and gave Peter a hug as well. They all walked away to give Peter some time.
Peter went to Gwen's grave every day and every night. For months. He never left her side. Every day he would blame himself for her death. "I'm sorry." Peter said as he stood in front of her grave. Tears began to roll down his face.
