Chapter Thirty Nine

Spider-Man was about to leave when his head started to hurt. Alerting him of danger. Before he could react he was pulled up onto the rooftop. "Hey Peter." Said an eerie voice. Spider-Man quickly turned around. It was Venom. "Eddie, you have to stop this." Said Spider-Man. "We can't stop this. We won't stop this." Said Venom as he attacked Spider-Man. Rain began to fall down. The rain made it difficult to see, but he relied on his heightened senses to track his enemy. Suddenly, a black, slimy tendril shot out from the darkness, narrowly missing Spider-Man's head. Spider-Man swiftly dodged the attack and retaliated with a web strike, but Venom was too quick. He effortlessly evaded the web and lunged at Spider-Man, his razor-sharp teeth glistening in the dim light. The two adversaries engaged in a fierce battle, their movements almost too fast for the human eye to follow.

The rain intensified, making the fight even more treacherous. Spider-Man's agility was hindered by the slippery surface, but he refused to let it deter him. He used his web-slinging abilities to gain an advantage, swinging from lampposts and buildings, trying to outmaneuver Venom. Spider-Man had to think of something quick. Spider-Man then thought of a place where he took off the symbiote the first time. The church. Spider-Man landed on top of the church where the bell was. Venom saw his opportunity to catch Spider-Man and took it. Venom leaped at Spider-Man causing them to crash into the bell. Spider-Man saw his own opportunity to web Eddie out of the symbiote. The bell steadily rang. The symbiote in pain. Spider-Man pulls and pulls until finally Eddie is free. The symbiote tried to go back to Eddie but Spider-Man quickly got it up in another container. "You fool. What have you done!?" Yelled Eddie. "Saved you." Said Spider-Man. "You didn't save me. You ruined me!" Yelled Eddie and he ran towards Spider-Man to attack him. Spider-Man quickly dodged him. Sending him into a wall. The police then showed up. They took Eddie away. Spider-Man knew where to take the symbiote. He knew to take it to Curt Connors. This time he was going to make sure all of it was there.
