Spider-Man walked softly behind her. "Hey." The lady was startled. Spider-Man walked softly towards her. "I'm sorry. It's alright. I won't do that again." The lady turned around slowly and looked at Spider-Man. "What are you doing up here?" Asked Spider-Man calmly. "This job is terrible, my husband and kids all passed. My life is just terrible." Said the lady in tears. Spider-Man stood beside the lady. "Life will never be easy. There will always be numbs in the road. Trust me I know." The lady turned and looked at Spider-Man. "Trust you!? You have powers. You are a hero. You don't know what I'm going through!" Cried the lady. Spider-Man then sat down beside the lady. "I do know what you are going through. I've lost a lot. People that meant a lot to me. Having powers doesn't make you a hero." The lady looked at Spider-Man and began to whip her tears.
"Before these powers I've struggled. There were times when I thought everything was terrible." "What did you do?" Ask the lady. "I kept my head high. I kept moving forward." Said Spider-Man as he looked at the city. "How does this help with anyone being a hero?" Asked the lady. Spider-Man looked at the lady. "I was once told that with great power comes great responsibility." The lady looked confused. "What does that mean?" She asked. "I believe it means that if you have the ability to do something, make sure that you do it for the good of others." The lady didn't say anything, just looked at Spider-Man. "There will be days that are rougher than others. Makes you feel like you want to quit. I know that feeling. I did quit but I was talked back into by a special person. I don't want you to quit. I know that there is something waiting for you out there." Said Spider-Man as he pointed to the city. The lady stood up. Spider-Man stood up after her. She began to cry again. "I'm sorry." Spider-Man just hugged the lady. "Nothing to be sorry about." The lady hugged Spider-Man back. "I'm not going to quit. It's not what my kids or husband would have wanted." The lady whipped her tears. "What are you going to do?" Asked Spider-Man. The lady let go of Spider-Man. "I'm going to find a new job. I will always do things for the good of others." The lady smiled. "Let's get down from here." Said Spider-Man as they made their way down to the ground. "I never got your name." Said Spider-Man. The lady looked up at Spider-Man. "My name is Martha." Spider-Man shook her hand. "Nice to meet you Martha." The both of them went their separate ways.
