I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I got some cereal and started eating.

"Why do you look depressed?" Ariel asked sitting in front of me with Toaster Strudels.

"I'm not, I'm just upset that Trey hasn't called me yet" I said.

"Is he your boyfriend?" She asked.

"No, he's my best friend" I said eating a spoonful of cereal.

"Yeah right, best friends always turn into boyfriends/girlfriends unless one is gay, are you gay Mace?" She said then asked.

"No dummy" I said flicking my spoon at her.

"It was just a question, but anyways, it's been two days, calm down, I on the other hand have dance practice for the Christmas Program" She said throwing her food away, and picking up her gym bag.

"How are you getting there? Everyone's asleep" I said finishing my cereal.

"Broke Homie Quan" she said laughing. I snickered and rinsed my bowl and spoon out. I stuck em in the dishwasher, and walked her to the door.

"Have fun" I said opening it.

"I will" She said walking out.

"Hey Uncle Quan" I yelled waving.

"Hey" He said dryly. Probably was sleep. I closed the door, locked it, and headed upstairs.

My phone started ringing so I answered it.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey sissy, wanna come over?" Cairo asked.

"Sure, when?" I asked.

"Um I don't know, my mommy wanted you to come over" he said.

"Okay, well text me" I said.

"Aight homie" He said making me laugh.

I walked into Auntie Lani's room, and she was putting on some heels. Guess she works today.

"Morning Auntie" I said.

"Morning princess, Ariel leave?" She asked.

"Yeah, about 10 minutes ago, but could you drop me off at Trey's house?" I asked.

"Did you talk to his mom first?" She asked.

"Yep" I said.

"Then yeah, I'll be ready in about 20 minutes" She said.

"You mean an hour" Uncle Lonte said walking out the closet in a tee and gym shorts.

"Shut the hell up" Auntie said.

"Rude" He said before getting back in the bed. I walked back to my room, and hopped in the shower.

I finished putting on lotion and everything and got dressed.

I put on a White crop top that said 'No Boyfriend, No Problem", Denim ripped jeans, and my Chicago 10's.

I grabbed my phone, White MK purse, and my phone charger. My wallet and things stayed in my purse.

I walked downstairs, and Auntie was ready. We got in her all white Benz and we were on our way.

"Bye Auntie" I said waving.

"Bye princess, call me if you need anything" She said.

"Okay" I said. I knocked on the door, and Cairo opened it. I walked in, and watched as Auntie pulled off. Cairo closed the door, and I followed him to the kitchen.
