Chapter 153

Ariel

I grab the keys to my Maybach and my wallet. "Bro I don't know just tell ma we headed there now" I say setting my alarm.

A.J asking me what names we got in mind and a whole bunch of irrelevant shit and I'm trying to make sure ma is on her way to the doctors office. Today is the day they can tell the gender and we're running late.

I've been up since 4 moving some money around and making sure business is where it should be.

Mia walks out the house and sighs. "What's wrong baby?" I ask closing and locking the door.

"My back hurts and I'm hungry" She whines as we get in the car. "Can you get me food and give me a back massage when we get home?" She asks putting her seatbelt on.

I do the same and start the car. "Yeah, I got you" I say putting the car in reverse and backing out.

We get to the doctor's office and Mia signs in. We sit down and she lays on me. "You want a boy or girl?" She asks.

"Honestly, it doesn't matter to me" I answer. "I have fun with Leah and Ty it's pros and cons to both so I'm happy with either" I say. "What about you?" I ask.

She shrugs. "Sometimes I want a boy and sometimes I want a girl" She says. "I've ordered a shit ton of boy and girl clothes and stuff and whichever one we don't have I'm gonna donate" She adds.

I lean back as I think of all the stuff we have to do. "I still gotta get a crib and dresser and tv and stuff, Mila gone help me too" I say.

A nurse comes out and looks around the room. "Tamia Brooks" She says looking down at her clipboard.

Mia and I get up and follow her back to whatever room we're going to. "It's cold in here" I mumble pulling the strings on my hoodie a bit.

"You can climb on the table and your doctor will be in shortly" The nurse says smiling and closing the door. 

About 10 minutes goes by and the door opens again. Our regular doctor, Mrs. Hayes walks in, closes the door and smiles. "Hey you two, how's everything going?" She asks while putting on hand sanitizer. We both respond with a good. She gets situated before applying the gel stuff and putting the probe thing on Mia. "Normally I would have the screen one but I remember you guys mentioning wanting the gender to be a secret so I have it off but I'll still be able to print you guys pictures for the future" She says.

She moves it around a few more times. "Oh wow" She says making me look at her crazy. "Sorry, it's just I thought I'd be looking for a while but it's a clear view, everything's healthy and going good from the looks of it also" She adds. "Would you like me to email the results or put them in an envelope?" She asks.

My phone beeps and I see it's my mom saying she just pulled up. "You can do an envelope, my mom just got here" I answer.

She nods before standing up and cleaning everything and wiping the gel off of Mia. "I'll get that right to you guys" She says before walking out.

She soon comes back with an envelope and hands it to Mia. "I'll see you back around the end of November" She says.  "Any questions or anything?"

I shake my head and Mia shakes hers. "No at the moment" Mia says.

"Okay well stop by the receptionist and she'll give you your next appointment date and I'll see you two then" She says before leaving out.

I help Mia down and let her walk out first.  We walk outside and I see my mom, Mia's mom, Mila, and Leah. "Envelope please" Mrs. Brooks says smiling.

Mia hands her the envelope and our moms both start squealing. "Uh uh, I'm hungry and that just made my head hurt, I hope you guys have fun, I'm going home and going to sleep" Mia says grabbing my keys and walking to the car.
